Pretty big terminal for cruise ships docking in Montego Bay, Jamaica but nothing inside so don't be surprised to see big empty space even though the sign outside says shopping mall. Plan your stay by taking a taxi to town or beach or simply participating on a shore excursions booked through the ship.

Who hangs out at the cruise terminal anyway? This one is poorly located outside of Montego Bay with few amenities nearby. Transportation IS available, just make sure you leave a good hour to get the 5 miles from the Hip Strip back to your boat!

This port is still under development, I belive. There isn't anything to really do at this port, but they got us to our excursion and were very friendly. There are probably 10 or 15 tents set up for souvenirs and very little food. There is a resort to visit, we didn't visit, didn't have enough time. The area is very beautiful and the people are really cool.

Port is lacking in all areas. It's basically a big empty building with a bulletin board, inside, with taxi and tour fees. There are about 5 shopping tents for souvenirs and one or two food spots outside. Give 1 star for the friendly workers at Mobay Port.

I've cruised to a lot of locations and I must say this was my least favorite. The amount of shopping at the actual port was very limited and there were many people who tried to take advantage of the foreigners visiting. Safety was also a concern. Won't be returning.

The port is beautiful. The beach side is serene and clean. You can see tons of hotels, yachts nearby. Shopping centres and pubs are nearby. Amazing place to hang out

Nice little port in Jamaica but make sure you have an itinerary in mind. The places to go are a little bit out if the way but it's so nice and beautiful! Friendly people!

There isn't much to do here, the gift shop area is rather small. No WiFi and they offered a qr code to get WiFi but it didn't work. No instructions about going thru immigration and collecting your bags etc wasn't clear. There were taxis to go into the bay area or go on tours etc.

The island is beautiful, avoid shopping at the pier as everything is severely over priced and low quality.

On a Carnival Cruise and used the cruise terminal there. No problems going in or out but do do covid they would not let anybody go out unless you are on a ship sponsored tour. Even though we have a friend that lives there who was waiting outside to pick us up. So we just booked a tour to the beach where we are going to meet him anyway. Everything worked out. Very basic and small place.

While on Carnival Cruise Ship Vista, one of the ports was Montego Bay. The waters were beautiful. It was extremely hot and humid. The port was clean yet far from the dock. Quite a walk in the heat.

Horribly disorganized People mooching money to move your baggage less than 50 metres. We will NEVER use a cruise company that operates out of this location. A national embarrassment.

Arrived in Montego bay, qued for 1 hr 45 minutes to get a coach to the port. We had a convey of coaches which were given a police essort (for our safety, I didn't feel safe because of the speed we were going, the hooter s the police were using for people to get out the way) We didn't go through security or passport control. The return was just as chaotic... I will never return to Montego Bay!!!

Great beaches but the traffic in Montego Bay city area is horrendous, worse I have ever seen in all my 30 years of foreign travel. Everyone pulls into middle of an intersection and blocks on coming traffic and the nimrods do it in all 4 or 3 directions. No one moves for for 15 minutes at each intersection. Very friendly people but I would never rent a car and drive in one of their big cities.

Biggest ripoff, we wanted to hit the shops near the back of the ship, very deceptive to put us on a bus saying it was shopping excursion. Our group ended up at a beach we didn't want to go to, was overcharged and was stranded for 3 hrs. On the way back finally ended shopping at place we wanted to start at.

Not a great port but there is some air conditioning and the only so called duty free here seems to be a few cabins outside with the usual local souvenirs available, very friendly though and will barter but all trying to catch their share of the market of course! If you wanted to go into town it s a long walk, you are better to get transport of sorts Taxis are expensive, so make sure you know what the cost will be. We went outside the terminal and got a very reasonable 3 hour tour on a minibus going shopping and to Dr. Beach. With the heavy traffic this became 4 hrs. I have to say the driver and escort where very reliable and came back at different times during the day to pick us up and to take us back to the ship.

Beware of the salesmen. They will surround you and stop you in the middle of a street and shove weed in your face and demand you buy it. Very uncomfortable situation. Especially when. You're in the street and cant move and cars are honking at you. But lots of beautiful views.

This cruise port was okay aside from the locals begging for money in order for you to take pictures w them. They did a wonderful job getting you in and situated for whatever excursion you have planned.🤷🏾‍♀️ It was clean and well organized, the locals were friendly.

🫤 Cruise ship terminal is only fit for purpose. Not much going on there. Inside there are no shops. There are small craft shops outside, but severely overpriced. So it is really just made for transit between a bus and cruise ship. Word of advice, do not pick up a taxi inside the port area. They charg...
