We Love coming to this beach. They have everything you need there from food drinks and changing rooms with showers and such. Picnic tables on the beach under shade trees. Very nice out of the way place.

We arrived at this beach and met a young man outside who told me that it’s $500JMD for foreigner, and if he bring us in he will get a $100JMD commission each off me and my partner. My understanding is that it was $300JMD for local and $500 JMD for foreigners. We got to the gate, there was no one there, so we walked in. They came up to us and tried to take $500 each. We refused to pay. They even said we are not allowed to take our own food or drinks even after paying to access a public beach. Overall, I would not encourage anyone to go here. It’s not a very clean beach and nothing very special about it.

One of the best beaches on the island. They do an excellent job with the upkeep, clean property and well taken care of restrooms. It’s $1000 JMD per person to enter and you have the option of renting a cabana or a beach chair. Their food is absolutely delicious and full of flavour, the curried conch with steamed bammy is my fav.

Was a nice experience. Unlike other places I love the fact that they make the food feasible for locals. Alot of places in Montego Bay cater to foreigners and forget about their own people . Spoke to Brian the owner on the phone who was very pleasant and when I met him both him and Tropical Bliss lived up to my expectation. Its a bit far off the road but it was well worth the time and money. Sometimes these little treasures are hidden and persons don't know about it Am definitely going back next week and bringing a few friends. Going on the Jet Skis this time. 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Taxi company told us Doc’s beach was pushy with people. They were going to take us to a special authentic place. $5.00 to get in, I forget the price for the chairs. Beach and water was full of grass. Couldn’t see through the water. Windy day. Read this in another post, January must be the month for sea grass. Music and entertainment was good. Didn’t eat the food. Bathrooms were decent. Pot smell was constant, but it is Jamaica. Has potential. Taxi was $20 round trip when going to Doc’s beach was $7. Taxi company gets you in the van and then tosses out a “special” price for 5 activities. Get a sticker and get 50% off shopping at the “best” place haha, prices are marked up for t-shirts and hats. Pick where you want to go and stick to it. Others went to doc beach and said it was wonderful.

The staff charged each adult $800 JMD. After showing the staff their pricing on their sign found online, they stated they recently changed it 3 days ago. The staff went back and forth with themselves arguing about what they should charge the group. They couldn’t even give consistent pricing in either USD or JMD. The child cut off age was 10 years old, so our 11 year old child was considered an adult forcing us to pay the adult price. The food was over priced for the quality. We paid $150 USD instead of the advertised price of $120 USD for the cabana. We wanted to purchase two cabanas and once we gave them the money, they came back to us asking for more money because they gave us the wrong price before, we settled for one cabana and asked for our money back. They first told us that each cabana was reserved for someone else then told us that they were all free to use once we paid, no other people on the beach used the cabanas so who those cabanas were reserved for, I’m not sure. There were no other activities that were mentioned (water trampoline, other entertainment, etc.). In total, my group paid over $600 USD for a beach that was NOT worth it. Do not go to this beach unless you want to be charged extra money for who knows what. Ridiculous.

Beach was nice, however there was pricing discrepancy. My 11 year grandson was charged adult rate. We were a large party of over 25 people. Inquired if there was a group rate and was told no but they insisted on charging $800 JMD for everyone 11 and older. There were only 6 kids in the group. There was also an issue with the pricing for the cabana. We rented 2 and went for a swim only to be called back while we were swimming to let us know we had to pay from thadditional $8000 JMD for each due to incorrect price quoted. Needless to say we will not be going back to this beach!

My partner and I went here on his trip to Jamaica and we had a great time. Not a lot of people were there when we went so it was quiet, relaxing and clean. We did the some activities that were there. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was cooked to perfection. We ordered Brown Stew Fish and Curried Lobster and it was one of the best we had. We definitely will be going back soon.

The Beach is awesome. There is a $5 entrance fee.. Beach chairs are also an additional fee, kinda ridiculous. Local alcoholic beverages are all $500jmd. Owner trying to recoup other expenses evidently. Jetskii and Ocean Tubing provided.

We enjoyed our time here but would not do it again. Did not know what to expect but it was OK. We paid $40 for 5 ppl to get in cash only. We liked the set up they had. Good music and they had an MC organizing games for the kids and doing the slide dance. I would have preferred just for him to keep playing good reggae music. The water was nice but the bottom was dirty and plenty of seaweed growing did not like that. Food was seasoned well but OK. The rice and beans was very good. Chicken was little dry. The sun chairs were included in the price and u don’t need a cabana there is plenty of shade. They have a souvenir store but don’t buy any alcohol BY ALCOHOL AT DUTY FREE. We over paid by %50 from duty free when we got back to port where the duty free is. We did enjoy the 2.5hrs we were there hence my video. They did have decent bathrooms and there are showers outdoors. U can rent jet skis but it’s very expensive. We had three meals and 4 drinks plus 3 large sodas and it was $80 that’s was pretty good. Service was excellent and everyone is very nice and accommodating. I am giving it 3 stars due to the seaweed and the bottom of the seas was somewhat gross. One more thing this beach is literally right behind the airport so u kept hearing the planes land all the time, this was annoying. Good thing their music was so loud u only heard it sometimes. I would not comeback.

The back was everything. We rented a cabana, came with chairs rum punch and beer and a waiter. The jerk chicken was to die for. They had good music and entertainment. The jet ski rental was amazing.

Nice spot to chill on the beach, music provided, lifeguard available.. Food is bit pricy for locals and some staff not really sure what they are doing but overall fun experience with friends.

The best beach I have visited in Jamaica. Fresh Coconuts, excellent high quality food, amazing cocktails and very clean facilities. There are watersports available and the sand is very white and the entire beach is very clean. Definitely the place to visit.

Nice beach but very small and not much area for swimming. It felt pretty crowded. It was also obviously a tourist attraction and every time a new group came in there was an announcement made welcoming them switch got annoying. It was nice to have music while on the beach

A commercial beach with alot of entertainment. Food and drinks are expensive but a fantastic experience different to any other beach on the strip.

Had the Fried Chicken for lunch, it was great!!! Natoya the server was also very pleasant. Didn't use the beach, but I saw quite a number of persons enjoying the water.

Loved the beach set up with the bar and place to eat but wasn't a fan of the water as it had too much grass for my liking. However will definitely be back for like lunch or early dinner.

Good spot to visit, eat, browse and relax. Our group was forced to go and pay unexpectedly. Majority of the group didn't enjoy this stop due to the deceptive way we were told to get on the bus for a shopping trip and added up on a beach we weren't prepared for and weren't told before we boarded the bus.

Really nice beach. Really nice bars and nice vibes. BUT DO NOT RENT JET SKIS FROM HERE. When we came back they told me that I got a damage and quoted me some insane price. Then when I agreed to the price 5 minutes later they say oh there’s another damage etc and wanted more money. The jet ski place is a scam. Never go there. But go the bar and beach!

We've there from a carnival cruise... The beach area was overpopulated. The food "buffet" that was being served was not option for my family due to watching one of the servers literally turn around, vomit in the grass, then continue to serve food. Nope! Not for me or my family. Much nicer beach clubs than this one

Awesome and beautiful past time. They have Wi-fi! They had a live DJ playing some awesome beats. Great and flavorful food & drinks and a souvenir shop! Clean bathrooms and outside showers. Plenty of water sports to sign up for. Our cabana was big enough to hold 7 ladies. What more could you ask for!? I can't wait to go back again!!!

This is the place to go in Montego Bay! It was 20$ to enter for 2 people with chair rental. The views were amazing, the drinks were great. The music and entertainment were great. It wasn’t super crowded when we went either. It is not a super crowded tourist beach. Jet ski rental and jet ski with tube ride available for purchase. I purchased a fresh coconut for $5.

The beach was great, water was warm & beautiful. My friends and I went on a pretty peaceful day and enjoyed the first half of our visit. The only thing that was unfortunate was the attitudes of the workers. I attempted to rent jet skis with a credit card and said it would be fine if we couldn’t because they only take cash. They really tried to attempt to sell us to use cash in order to do the jet-skis and did so with a dismissive and unfriendly manner. Most times, it also felt as if they were snickering about us. It felt rude and demanding. I decided to not rent at all because of their lack of hospitable service. We ended up leaving all together. In the future I hope they can treat kind tourists with equal kindness.

This is my place! Yes you pay to get in, and for pretty much everything, but the drinks are done well and the food is good! This is the closest they had to a vegan meal, and it was amazing !

Nice place to chill. Food and service are good. The water it's quite shallow and with just a few patches of sand; as seagrass take over most of the area. The sand is great nonetheless.

It was an ok place. It was super noisy with the bar set up. But we went to the far end of the resort and it was quiet and found a crab and some shells and just sat on the beach and relaxed. Food was decent. If you can go from the cruise ship, its worth going.

Absolutely breathtaking. The view, the food, the drinks, the bartenders, the waitresses and the general staff are all amazing. It's somewhere, that you'll definitely want to go to if you're in Montego Bay. Go for the beach but stick around for the sunset(you'll love it, I promise)
