This store appears to be a dumping ground for counterfeit Chinese food products. The so-called "name brand" groceries are stocked without prices on the shelves beside store brands that are clearly priced ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Once you make it to the checkout lane, you can expect wildly high prices that were never displayed. Disgracefully—and all too commonly—this grocery store chain is just another scammy money-grab designed to dupe tourists and unsuspecting Jamaican shoppers into thinking they're buying quality merchandise. Unfortunately, overpaying for inferior groceries is a pretty common practice across the island that's condoned and promoted by the Crime Minister and cronies from both parties.

Nice and clean grocery store. The employees were kind and friendly. I found a lot of nice spices to take back home. They don't give out bags to carry your groceries so bring your own.

Good effort has been made in stocking the shelves with products. What I found unusual at this progressive supermarket was that in order to gain access to the toilets, the customer has to request a key from the customer service desk. This is quite inconvenient and also increases the risk in the spread of disease. That toilet key policy is not in force at the other progressive supermarket in montego bay. It is not in force at Mega Mart nor at the Government's Revenue office. I am sure that Progressive can do better and in fact ought to be doing better at their access control to the toilets.

They have a wide variety of items. Clean & spacious. Checkout would be easier if there were more cashiers though.

Very convenient and easy to find parking.. But cashiers are always limited... So there is never a run-in run out..

As European tourists, the price of goods in Jamaica came as a huge shock - this was our first visit to a grocery store so I'm sure prices are similar everywhere. But don't expect your money to go very far here! A 142g bag a chips cost nearly £4. The cheapest cheese was 12 slices of Kraft at £3.50.

This is a nice and clean food market. The staff are friendly and they have a bathroom to use if you need it. They also take US dollar if you don't have Jamaican dollar. There's a big parking lot for cars. It's in a safe area too so many tourists come here.

The supermarket wasn't too busy at that time of the day, but the service was great. The workers were pleasant and helpful. The place is very clean.

one of the best places to shop in Montego Bay we always go here. Way cheaper than mega. The workers are very helpful in loading our truck. we always go here to buy our coffee and take back to the states. also, they have a great price on Appleton rum

Please I do recommend this place, but if it's your everyday supermarket you will find out more each day. If your not of class or not white, maybe the staffs will treat and act as if you're not spending there. It doesn't matter what you come in and purchase. Please management I recommend customer service classes or a seminar that your staffs understand so, and I heard a staff talking to another in frustration. But other than that I love this place but the staffs are not that nice no smile no greetings.

Well stocked supermarket. Visited by Jamaicans and tourists. During my visit, it seems you are able to gett all you need from a supermarket. There is an in-store bakery along with the normal meats and other grocery items.

There are some things that they don't have on their shelf that they carried before. Be prepared to be disappointed Some prices are higher than other markets. Produce is not always fresh. Staff is usually friendly. Very clean environment.

The one stop shop has all you need. Has food but also household items just like supermarkets in the UK or US. Imports found here so if you need specifics this is the place you're most likely to find it. Staff are very helpful. Unlike England they pack your bags and take your shopping to the car for you so I'm obviously sold!! You actually save money if you have a store card.

It was very pack.., I bought 3 apples that appears ripe and not battered. Most of the apples looks like it went through a storm. After biting in my first apple I tasted that it wasn't ripe and it was bitter. But been pregnant with cravings I needed the apples

Progressive Foods Store is my favorite food store especially the one in Fairview Shopping Center (Why? There is a deli in there that prepares delicious foods that can be compared to one of the finest restaurants in Montego Bay. You can buy your lunch there and take it for a dinner, well done) There is always special offers on items frequently used, especially, on weekends. And because of the spacious and comfortable setting, companies often model their new product to shoppers along with free item . How to fine Progressive? Just think: "Where is the best community or the best Shopping center?" Pricing: Reasonable. Food: Fresh Reception: Fair Air. Conditioned Standard. High That's my concept.

Very good place to go shopping groceries. The only place I can find vegan products. Good prices and services. If you're a member of the customer loyalty you will good promotions and prices. 100% recommend.

Supermarket lines are way too long. Management does not seem to care. They have more cashier lanes but never use them. The Supermarket lay out is backwards. Usually supermarkets have the fruits and vegetable sections first. Here is the hard alcohol and wines.

Shopping at Progressive Supermarket is ideal. You can find all u want under one cover. The Customer Service Representatives are pleasant and ready to assist u in comfort and style. The inside is clean, fresh n spaceous easy to move around and social distancing due to COVID-19 is evidently seen practicing by all customers. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to shop at Progressive Supermarket in Ironshore.

For the area it is in...I expected the supermarket to have same standard as the one at Fairview. Disappointed. Perhaps better lighting will brighten the look inside...and add more cashiers.
