We had a great time with Captain Martin catching lots of Mahi and Tunas. Crew was very friendly and professional. They arranged for a restaurant to cook the fresh catch for us immediately after. It was delicious. If you are in Jamaica, I would strongly recommend using this company.

Dream fishing expedition with the Lucky Bastard charter ! Caught a 260 pounds blue marlin and no less than 9 mahi mahi in less than 4 hours ! A simply thrilling experience with a passionate, professional and extremely skilled crew. The boat is clean, well organized and equipped. Captain Howard took the time to prepare all of our fishes back at the dock for us to enjoy during the rest of our stay. We will cherish these magical moments forever ! The only thing we would probably do differently next time is to release the magnificent Marlin back into the ocean for others to enjoy – Un immense MERCI Howard, Maurice and Rohan for making this a definite highlight of our Jamaican vacation. A bit late on the review but the effort is there. Me and my dad went sea fishing with Lucky Bastard Fishing Charter in December of 2017. Started the day with deep sea fishing over 10 red snappers each and decided to go for the big ones and started trolling. After over 2 hours of zero bites I eventually caught a nice size barracuda. This fishing trip was a nice bounding experience with my dad and the captain was also very fun to be around. I recommend 👍👌👍

Experienced captain and amazing crew! We went by a floating log and caught more than 100 fish using a light tackle rod. Afterwards, we were trolling the water and ended up catching two Mahi Mahi. Highly recommend going to the restaurant where they prepare your catch! Thank you so much for a memorable experience. This charter is perfect for those who love to fish and others who've never done it.

Tanya was very helpful from the booking process all the way up to days before our fishing trip. She even had captain Martin call me to tell me about the trip and what to expect. We caught many small fish, 2 mahi mahi and 1 blue marlin! It was very exciting! The crew was amazing! From captain Martin taking us around for the good catches, as well as Maurice and Ronni helping us! We got to catch & dine our fish that we caught. The crew took pictures and videos of us and sent them! All around , the trip was amazing! Thanks for a great honeymoon/ 1 year anniversary trip!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had an Awesome time!!! Captain Martin did an excellent job at navigating us to the purfect spots!! Rohann and Maurice worked their butts off to put bait on and set us up for one hell of a fight! Between the Wahoo,Barracuda and black-jack !! Needless to say our adrenaline was pumping!!! Very personable and professional!! Showed us a Wonderful time!! Highly reccomend!!!

I went for my birthday while in Jamaica and the captain and crew were awesome! The crew was so knowledgeable and shared tips and tricks with us along the way. We caught 10+ tuna and the excitement that we experienced having everyone but the captain reeling in a line was unREEL (pun intended).

I fish often and it was obvious right away these guys knew what they were doing. They were super organized and had all the right equipment. We landed a huge Barracuda before we even got out of the marina; then we got 7 Mahi Mahi further offshore. When I come back to Jamaica, I wouldn't dream of going with anyone else.

A few charters boats from other companies were out on our morning and we were the only boat catching fish! This charter really knows what they are doing. Very friendly crew made our trip much fun as well. It was our 1st deep sea experience and landed some nice fish [see photos]. We did the delicious dine feature with our fresh Tuna.

Best time of my LIFE!! Captain Obrien with Maurice & Rohan put me on 4 Blue Marlins to fight! I lost 2 and got 2 huge ones! We packaged 2 cooler full of meat to take back to Texas for my next BBQ and enjoyed the dining some fresh grilled fillets. It was delicious! Crew is top notch with loads of experience! Highly recommend this company.

When it comes to a fishing charter, there a lots of choices out there. But for me I c hose Lucky Bastard because they were prompted in communicating their availability and scheduling. It also helped that their website posted frequent videos of actual customers catching real fish almost on a daily basis. My son and I scheduled a 4 hour morning trip. This team is. Nothing less than top notch. A crew of fishing miracle workers. All my 9 year old son has spoken of for years is catching a big fish. We were not disappointed. This team and the captain know their skill. We ended up landing a nearly 10 foot blue marlin! What a lifetime experience we won’t soon forget. Thank you for your welcoming hospitality, accommodating efforts and making this an incredible father and son memory for a lifetime! And - a special note as well for the catch and dine - the chef and staff were fantastic as well. The true Jamaican experience I have always loved and admired.

We had an absolute blast! We caught barracuda, wahoo, and black jack. The experienced captain took us straight to the fish and the awesome crew had us all pulling the fish in as fast as we were dropping lines. I highly recommend going on a fishing tour with The Lucky Bastard 🤣 The captain and crew were extremely nice and an absolute pleasure to talk to!! 🐠🐟🎣

Highly recommend especially if this is your first time on the ocean. They have a nice cabin to get out of the hot sun and rest a minute. The whole crew and captain are amazing. No matter what part of Jamaica we are in we will 100% travel near and far to book with them again. Best fishing experience we have had yet! Best 8 hour day of our life! You WILL catch fish. Great , knowledgeable crew. Just be aware that this is a barefoot only boat, they literally collect all shoes at the dock. To get on the boat you need to walk a narrow wooden plank. So if anyone in your party are elderly or have foot/leg issues I would think twice.
