Went to Garvey Inn Hotel after booking 2 rooms on Booking.com, First My friends and I tried to check in, they said the manager is not in and made us wait 30+ minute in order to get our room, after waiting the owner/ manager was quite rude to us, but we let it go since we thought he had a bad day, later on we checked in the room and everything was quite run down, bathroom door doesn't locked and there was bugs in the room and Ciggs smell. Seeing the pictures on Booking.com it was nothing like the room we expected. After that we went out to eat dinner and came back seeing our room got robbed. There was no security and there is only one way up which is the main elevator at the check in. After checking the security feeds that was given to us a week later. They let a bunch of strangers up and open the room for them, letting them walk out with our luggage. NOT ONE ROOM BUT BOTH ROOMS!

Garvey Inn is not worth it, I rather go down 2 blocks down to Hilton, Only $30 more than what you are paying at Harvey Inn, Better Security and Service. at Garvey Inn the Manager is rude and the rooms are not what it is in the pictures on Booking. DO NOT GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF THEY GIVE YOU ROOM 205 AND 206. YOU WILL GET ROBBED. Basically they only have 1 elevator going up to the floors which is at the main entrance and they let bunch of strangers up into our room. They also go into your rooms without our permission and opening the doors. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I love this place many good memories in these rooms. I slayed a few Chinese women in this place then have bought them breakfast at Burger King down the street. The wifi is decent and the staff is really cool. Ask for a discount if you are a frequent visitor you may get one. Most of the ladies like this place because it's in rosemead not too far from the freeway.

Everyone was so nice to us. We had a great time. The beds were clean, we had enough towels and toilet paper. We were impressed by their kindness ☺️ it's really cheap, probably the cheapest in L.A for 4 guests. I will recommend this place. Thank you for everything you do.

A nice place, a comfort suites level inn. Lodged in several places along our journey including Airbnb, Comfort Suites ($210/night), roadway motel, and this Garvey Inn wins out with its spacious room, comfortable bed, room service, 24 hr surveillance for security, and cheaper price. Owner is a Taiwanese who established this place and has been running it for 40 years.

Excellent service all the staff super nice and caring. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with frigobar, water and maps of nearby stores and restaurants. A perfect place to stay with a good price and breakfast included. Definitely will come back again when visiting Los Angeles.

Looks sketchy but we were pleasantly surprised. Old furnishings but the rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was kind of grungy. We were on the second floor an the noises and stomping coming from the room above us were extremely annoying. OK budget choice.

We had a great experience staying here! I would recommend it to anyone who needs a safe clean place to stay! The owner was awesome as well!

Shower curtain bar was bent making it difficult, at best, to use the shower. We couldn't find any English language TV channels (not a real big deal), and if there was a staircase (in case of fire), we didn't see it. Get what you pay for, I guess.
