Very disappointing ordering from Ike's last night. They usually have outstanding sandwiches, packed with meat and other ingredients. I'm not sure if it was a one time thing, if it was new workers or if they didn't care because they were about to close (I ordered at 6:40, picked up at 6:50, so that's not really an excuse), but my sandwich last night was not worth it. I only took a picture of my sandwich, but my wife's was just as lacking. Almost $30 total for a couple sandwiches. We usually love Ike's, so I'm not sure what happened this time. We will give it another chance, but if we get sandwiches like this again we will be finding another regular sandwich shop to order from. A picture of the menage a trois, a $10 sandwich that looks like it has $4 worth of ingredients on it.

I really like this sandwich shop, but I have to go with 3 stars due to consistency issues. My go-to order is the Pee Wee Sandwich (vegan), but it’s preparation is often inconsistent. Some days it comes out perfect, and other days it’s lacking sauce, certain veggies are omitted, etc. I still frequent this shop regardless because I appreciate their vegan options. In addition, ideally the “meat” portion could be a little larger. I usually order double “meat’ which then makes the sandwich feel more complete, but the overall cost of the sandwich is about $17. Overall, I would appreciate a larger “meat portion” but more importantly, more consistency/attention to detail.

Was craving a nice sandwich. Didn’t know they had halal options! Ordered the Ménage A Trois and was so delicious! The bread was so soft and customer service here was excellent! Definitely recommend!

Food was great and the customer service was the same. Had the 49er sandwich and it tasted amazing. Would come back, and a reminder to all muslims, the chicken is only halal.

Pretty hyped up, even we thought it would be great with so many vegan vegetarian options, but the sandwiches were a little disappointing. We ordered 3 different types and not much taste difference in all. Found it pretty expensive for a sandwich and not worth the money. The sandwiches were soggy and tasteless. Subways is way better and cheaper. Would not go back again nor recommend.

I've been to other Ike's and went to this one because I've enjoyed it before. They seemed to move a bit too fast as they swaped my and my husband's bread. It was a bit disappointing considering it's not a cheap sandwich shop. Since we were in a rush, we begrudgingly ate our sandwiches on the wrong bread. UPDATE: Increased to 3 stars because the owner reached out to me about my experience and provided contact info. They mailed me a free sandwich coupon and a $3 off coupon. I appreciate when owners do their best to make a bad experience right, so this was a nice surprise. And since I do enjoy their sandwiches most of the time, I will be back to use my coupons

I ordered a 111 and the sandwich sounded so good but when I unwrapped the sandwich it was super soggy :(. I’m not sure if it was the halal chicken or the sauces they put in it but it was so soggy that the slices tasted like I was biting into a sponge.

They let me order a simple chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese and avocado and it was delicious. The French bread was crunchy, the ingredients fresh and lots of chicken.

We’re vegan so we stopped here today and we were blown away! This place is phenomenal. We tried 3 different sandwiches as they were all 5/5.

Stopped in Monterey for a bite. Enjoyed the lively activity if the other patrons. Great sandwiches with a toasted gluten free roll at no extra charge. Very friendly staff and a blow pop included with each sandwich. Talk about love.

Pretty good but a little pricey for the sandwich and size. I got the award winning cain sandwich and it was great. There are so many options almost too many lol. I would go back tho.

Only ever ordered through GrubHub, but every time I've had them, they knock it out of the park. I always add mushrooms, and these guys do it the right way. Ike's boasts a wide spread of vegan options, and you can opt to turn your sandwich into a salad bowl if you're looking to ditch carbs. I ought to order here more often. They're pretty competitively priced, might I add. I wanted to take a photo, but the moment I had it unwrapped...

I have Gluten and dairy allergies. First time I’ve been able to get a sandwich that is allergen free out at a restaurant. It was delicious. GF bread was fluffy and thick. Slightly dry but that’s usual with GF breads. I will be coming back whenever I come to town.

Ike's catered a lunch picnic for a small group of friends. Everything was correct, delicious and fresh even after the 15 minute drive. The lunch bag was a great deal since it came with sandwiches, bags of chips and cookies for $14.

First time visitors to Ike's during the race weekend. Got the Meatless Mike and the Jeremy Stoppelman sandwiches. They tasted fantastic! Next time we come we will buy enough to feed ourselves at the track and for the plane ride home. Freshly made on toasted buns. So good!

Bus driver here on lunch, MV Transportation my fist time here sandwich so good! I got the Hollywould’s SF cheesesteak; I will be back to try more ;).

First time getting Ike's sandwich. I wanted to get the Reuben but it's not a traditional Reuben sandwich. The best Reuben locally I've had is from the Market at Pebble Beach. I like the spin on their Reuben which I opted for the French roll and they had no Russian dressing so I substituted Thousand Island dressing. The pastrami was high quality and not overpowering and not the usual peppery briney Pastrami. I like the sweetness of the Purple sauerkraut which is sweeter then the typically sauerkraut. I liked the sandwich as a whole but my taste buds were expecting the tanginess of a typical Reuben. No taste of Rye bread since this was a much sweeter version of a Pastrami sandwich. I think 95 percent of people who like pastrami would like this sandwich. I gave 4 Stars because of price, a little pricey for this sandwich and received via Door dash. Quality food but I would like to go back physically and try another sandwich

Had the Going home for Thanksgiving and the Hollywoods SF cheesesteak, both were super tasty! The Dutch Crunch bread is soooo good! Food was ready in under 5 mins and sandwich artists were super friendly and helpful.
