Good traditional Mexican food in the heart of Monterey. Flautas are great (!), tacos and other options are OK. Restaurant is super busy for good reasons - very good traditional food in friendly, albeit humble and a little dated ambience. Has dedicated private parking spots close to the restaurant.

Very good food. Excellent selection of traditional Mexican food. Staff polite and helpful. Took the whole family including my mother in her wheelchair and the manager gave us the first available table even though there was a crowd waiting to be seated ahead of us. Very clean restrooms. The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant surrounded by glass windows so you can see the cooks wearing masks and how they prepare your food. The only thing is that It was very crowded and noisy so it's not easy to carry a conversation. But they were so nice to my mother that I didn't mind the commotion. The desserts were very good and the ice cream is made of natural ingredients. It even comes in the peel of the fruit. I ordered the Mamey ice cream and it was excellent! I think I will order the Mango ice cream next time.

Big and roomy place to accommodate a bunch of people. I always have tacos there. There may be a bit greasy, but still yummy. Get there right after noon, otherwise it will be crowded.

This place was worth the walk we took to get there. The atmosphere was very nice and the waiters were helpful and gave good recommendations for what to order since it's our first time here. The soup was great.

This place is very popular with those from the area making sure they come here when visiting from The States (my wife’s family). I got the Flautas and it was very good. Prices are pretty good as well. With the large group (16) that we came with no one was disappointed. It’s very crowded but they have lots of seating. Good but not mind blowing.

You can order taco, flauta, enchilada just for 1 piece instead of at least ordering "una orden". I like this feature as you can try several cuisines at the same time (good for ppl like me who want to try as many fish as possible but having a small stomach) I tried sopa Juárez, 1 flauta, 1 taco de deshebrada, 1 enchilada and cuernitos en vinagre. They all came in a decent presentation. Homemade taste without a lot of grease. I would say the cuernitos was my favorite, the taste of vinegar was just perfect, chewy pork skin without a single hair. Clean and spacious environment, attentive staff, price accessible, with parking lot. A must-visit restaurant if you are fan of home style Mexican cuisine.

Great shredded beef tacos and enchiladas. Quick and friendly service. Typical “Mexican antojitos”.. no wonder it’s been in business for so many decades.

The place is traditional and simple without too much furnishing. The service was not good but just okay. We had an order of noodle soup, shredded beef tacos and enchiladas (rolled tortilla with cheese and green sauce). Even the price was lower than the average restaurants in Monterrey, but the taste of the dishes were not good. Both beef tacos and enchiladas had no flavors. The only flavored dish was the noodle soup. If you are a visitor and have the resources ($$), I would recommend you to go somewhere else.

This place NEVER disappoints, food has the same authentic flavors. Have been visiting this particular restaurant since 1986. A must-try in this city, everything is good

Iconic Monterrey eatery that my in-laws have enjoyed since they were teenagers. Been there many times and it never disappoints.

It is a good place to taste "antojitos" which are made at the moment when you order, it also has a wide range to choose among all the dishes and flavors are quite good!!

Absolutely fantastic food. I wish I could give 6 stars because most of my other 5 star ratings now pale in comparison. I got a taco combo and it was plenty of food, you can also get smaller portions. You can ask for spicier salsa (muy picante), it was so flavorful and delicious. One of my favorite stops and I want to make sure I go whenever I'm in the area.

I recently dined at Taquería Juárez, a highly-rated establishment with 10,000 reviews. Based on its reputation, I had high expectations for the food quality, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered the flautas, and my wife had the sopa de frijoles. While the presentation of the dishes was impressive, the taste fell short. The flavors were rather bland, suggesting that more attention might have been given to the appearance than the actual flavor profile.

Excellent customer service and food was delicious

Nothing special, red salsa extremely watered down, especially on the chilaquiles, pretty bland flavors. Tasted enchiladas, flautas, tacos, tostadas, and chilaquiles and everything was just barely ok in taste.

This place was delicious. The enchiladas are very traditional and tasty. The food is authentic and the staff was very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some of the best traditional enchiladas in Monterrey

First time eating in this restaurant in Monterrey. I ordered two cheese Enchiladas Rojas, one Chicharron Sope con carne, y dos tacos desebrados. The taste of the food melts in your mouth!!! Six drinks and food, plus tip was only $990 pesos!!! Or about $57, that food would have cost us here in the states over $100!!! Evrything from food to salsas was so fresh and service was on point. I highly recommend you visit Taqueria Juarez!!

Some of the best antojitos Monterrey has to offer. This place is full of rich history and is worth reading up about where it started and how it expanded. You can order as little or as much as you like, and if you've never had antojitos before, walk around the enclosed kitchen to see how they are made, it's quite the process.
