Got in Montevarchi just for a night...a stop on a longer road. Across the street from our hotel found this restaurant. Entrance-you need to think twice- but es you are in you want to stay there. Familiar and classy- at the same time (?!). Very fast and prompt personnel. Food was great (probably the best noodles i ever had). The wine was good as well (you have a lot to choose). At the end a rather modest bill. Oh- did i mention the Bistecca Fiorentina? This is for sure the runner in this restaurant! A great T-bone. Locals also love this restaurant. If you, by any chance, want to eat something in Montevarchi (or not) you have to see this place!

I had the Pappardelle with Pomodoro Fresco, the best thing I've ever eaten. Something so "simple" but so well done. Incredible. Good atmosphere, nice staff, and good prices! Totally recommend it!

Update: So we came back the next day to have their Carbonara and Veal in mushroom sauce. Both were stunning. Delicious Vongole and Cacio e Pepe. Also known for their Bistecca ala Fiorentina.

Spaghetti with seafood was definitely a great choice! Service was simply excellent. The whole place is greatly decorated. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. We'd be 100% satisfied if it wasn't for the coperto charge, which we weren't warned of.

I had the best T-bone steak of my life! I suggest every one passing by to try it!

The restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb hosts and we were super happy with it, so good we went back the next night. The staff in the resto are great and were happy to make recommendations and although tipping isn’t common, it’s well deserved here. Portions are tasty and big; the first night we ordered both first and second plates and the second night, just the Florentine Steak The pasta is good but the steak is great. Well cut and cooked on the coals and relatively rare If you only have chance for one meal in Montevarchi, dine at Castelucci’s and go for the steak !

Two days rejected at the door. Opening was at 19.20u, lady opened the door and restaurant was already fully booked (nobody inside) Day before same reason. Ridiculous! Rude personel. Closed door before we could speak any further.

A beautiful place, food was wonderful, didn't want to stop eating! Totally recommend!!

A very unfriendly reception. Despite telephone agreement of a reservation with 16 people, we were denied the food on site when we arrived there. I am shocked by this unacceptable behavior towards customers.
