This place: 1 word AMAZING! I went here for dinner and first of all I would like to mention the great hospitality on arrival. We felt immediately most welcome and started with a nice Chianti wine, a bottle of water and some bread. Then after that we got the chefs menu. Have a look at my pictures and I can ensure you that you will definately go to this restaurant. The entree (antipasto misto) was delicious and refined in taste and flavours and went together with for me a familiair crunchy bread salate. This was really my favorite dish! After that a tasteful Ravioli and then the main course Bistecca Fritta with a wonderful cheese sauce and a fresh salate. Dessert was a fluffy bavarois. Last but not least a mandarin liquor with cantuccini to dip. I would hereby like to thank the hosts for this special dinner and the lovely service. I am already curious what the new menu will be....

Rarely would I support google with a review but this place is amazing. One of the best Italian meals ever. The pastas and raviolis are made with love. Bolognese sauce is perfect. Tiramisu delicious. Just let the owner bring you whatever he wants and you’ll love it.

Delicious food, very friendly and professional service. We’ve been travelling trough Italy, this was definitely the best restaurant we’ve been to. It was also pretty cheap compared to the quality and quantity of the food.

We looked up a place to stop for lunch during our drive from Montepulciano to Lucca. The reviews and timing sent us here. This lunch was truly our best meal in the whole of Italy! You need to stop here. You will be in heaven. The town itself isn't much to see outside the typical piazza. There is a parking lot a few blocks away from the restaurant. Park there and walk over. There is no menu here. And you don't need one. Though feel free to ask if there is soup or something in particular you're looking for. Daniele served an antipasto, a pasta course, and a meat course on this particular afternoon. The antipasto was unbelievably delicious and presented beautifully. We had no idea what we were in for. Daniele, a greeted us and basically asked us if we wanted to start with an antipasto. We said yes. And the ride began. Wow! To describe each bite of each peice is impossible. He also brought out some sort of bean dish as a side with bread. Delicious, but filling. Then he came and asked us if we wanted pasta. Again we said yes without asking any questions. It was a lovely ravioli. We were so full after that course that when he came and asked us if we wanted a meat dish we had to reluctantly decline. We got up to pay and it was $40 for the two of us, which included one glass of wine for me since I wasn't driving. We are still talking about this meal. So happy for my fellow reviewers input. Stop in Montevarchi and eat here! You will be so heavy.. Daniele was gracious, friendly, and filled our bellies with love and goodness for the road trip. Such a gem of a find!!! Wow!

An unassuming restaurant from the outside that houses the perfect combination of friendly welcoming staff and incredible Tuscan food. A must for anyone in the area that cares about good food!

The best Italian restaurant in Italia . The food was awesome ,the service was super nice , the place was really cute , and the cost was really amazing .They really know how to make high quality food and didn't charge too much money .

If you are within driving distance, you must try Daniele e Riccardo. No menu, you just eat what they make that night, but it is delightful and very well priced. Enjoy!

The tortelli were particularly good. However, the pork was bland and uninteresting, and the taleggio sauce that came with it reminded me of American nacho cheese sauce. The strangest part was the owner - there's no menu so he came to the table and listed the choices verbally, but he did it so quickly that not even my Italian boyfriend understood. We asked him to repeat it, which he did in exactly the same manner. We asked him to explain how one of the dishes was prepared because we didn't really catch everything even the second time, and he wouldn't explain. (We ate early, the place was empty, there was no rush). My boyfriend thought that maybe he was a robot. Anyway, with this attitude, it might be useful to just print a menu.

Searched for a good restaurant for lunch whilst driving in the area and bingo! This no-frills , carefree restaurant is as authentic and low key as you can get. We did not bother with the menu and Daniele decided for us..... it was a quick easy lunch, we were 3 and we had a tomato based pulp (Papps) , tuna tartar, antipasti misti, spaghetti pomodoro, and cod. Definitely worth a try and the photo of the empty plate says it all!
