Simply the best! Lovely staff, food is spectacular, original Armenian food made by Armenian people. I ate the hummus, the famous Lehmeyun and tradicional Shawarmas, falafel and meat. It was by far the best Shawarma I’ve had in a long time. It’s worth the visit, a must go when in Montevideo!

A nice change after weeks of way to sugary pastries, low quality carb-heavy foods and the heavily felt inexistence of good coffee in Paraguay as well as Uruguay 😁. A bit more sauce would have made my day but it was good and tasted fresh anyway

The best shawarma I'm town. I've tried Armenian food in a lot of places. However this is by far my favorite place. And the owner Ashot is really kind. Anyone who goes there should have a chat with him if possible.

Loved it.. from ordering to eating it. The process of ordering is too good. They give u a slip, you have to check mark whatever you want 😊. The chicken shawarma was too good. They do provide mutton(cordero) shawarma only on saturday. The have multiple topping options. Visiting on a Saturday soon for shawarma again.

Have been to Ashot a few times now . The Shawarma is good and one of the best at MVD . The rice is bland and not worth the cost for the quantity.

The best shawarma in Uruguay! This is a no frills shop where ordering is so easy, you get a piece of paper where you put your name and tick what you want, pay and the shawarma gets to you very quickly! The shop is rather small but there were not much people eating in the shop. There is a queue waiting for shawarma but most were doing takeaways. I was only one of the few dining in the shop. I have to say the shawarma was really good! The portion is definitely filling and the meat is so tender and juicy. While eating there was still meat juices oozing out of it! I also loved it when the shawarma pita was heated up so nicely there is a slight crunch to it at some parts. Truly a good place to indulge in cheap and good shawarmas.

Just what I've been craving for months while backpacking south America. I got the chicken kebab and chosebmy fillings. If you like spicy ask for doble picante! And it's perfect. Meat was juicy. Salads fresh and tasty! Closes at 5pm.... Constantly busy. E-N-J-O-Y

Very good shawarma, good amount of meat inside. You can choose from carne (i think it's a mix of pork and beef) and chicken. I like that you can fill a ticket with what you want in the wrap, that saves time.

Loved this place. The shawarma was so good. The cordero/mutton one is the special one but it will be available only on Saturday. A really good place for hangout.
