The food tasted good and the service was really nice. The reason I am giving it a 2 is because both me and my bf got a really bad food poisoning from it in which we had to cancel the trip we had planned on the following day. He had a chao mein and a lemonade, I had a doblado and green juice. I have a feeling the soy protein was the problem as it is something that requires some attention to be decently prepared.

This place seems to be cool but we had an unfortunately time there. We ordered two vegan burgers, but one came with cheese and egg. At first we were suspicious about the cheese but the waitress said for sure it was vegan. Only after a first bite we realized that was also egg in it. We felt really bad. Wouldn’t come back.

Planned a trip with office colleagues on Friday. So a lot of people almost 16 , we reserved the seats. It's really good. So many people are there, they helped us keep our bags and jacket in different places and very less delay in food, as ordered a lot. One tip, don't order green juice and Namste juice. It was terrible... Specially green juice 😖. We ordered * Chivito super *Beyond meat burger *Doblado California *Veg lasagna * Wok thai *Green juice *Namaste special *Sun kiss *Namaste special beer *Gramaho vegan and so on. Food is good . Lasagna is really great. Try gramaho, chivito too. If you want to try veg options this place is awesome compare to other restaurants. Please give it a try.

-1 star for food quality of 1 meal +1 star for food quality of the other meal +1 star for a good atmosphere -1 star because of the biting bugs (don't wear shorts or open shoes) -2 stars for adding almost $200 extra fees of "cubritos." Yes you heard that right, we got charged over $4 at a restaurant for using their cutlery and plates and glasses. No, we did not take extra or break anything. Tldr: don't go here of you don't speak Spanish well, they'll charge you with fake things and magically be unable to explain it in English anymore.

Good place for pure vegetarians. Taste is ok ok, don't expect much. But ambience and service is good.

Love the place. My first dinner with one of my colleague in this company. And it was very pleasant. They offer two kinds of dinner table, the regular table chair and also Indian/Japanese style: you can sit down and have a bit raised table for dining. Food served was also very well presented. And they also gave a quick input on the mushroom sause they added on French fries, which is interesting.

Highly satisfying experience ⚘ There is an increasing number of new vegan or vegetarian restaurants/shops in Montevideo and they are an asset to the otherwise meat and French fries oriented eateries. As a pleasant difference to many other vegan/vegetarian restaurants (often combined with shops), Namaste offers a great location, lovely decoration, high ceilings and refreshingly quite rooms in an otherwise noisy city. Juices/smoothies are fresh, main courses delicious, and Namaste even offers a small and exquisite beer and wine selection. We experienced the service as heartwarming and professional. My wife and I are not strict vegetarians and traveled to over hundred countries; Namaste is one of those places we can recommend with pleasure for lovers of delicious food and drinks.

A hidden gem in Montevideo for vegetarians and vegans. As a vegetarian/vegan couple it is hard to find good veggie restaurants in SA countries where the food industry is dominated by meat. We enjoyed the food and the good service. Also the desserts are very worth a visit!

"Hidden in plain sight" place. Very interesting option for Vegetarians like myself. The service is good, but the more crowded times might overwhelm staff.

My friends and I loved this restaurant! All of the dishes were delicious! I particularly loved their take on chivitos, and the gnocchi was a crowd pleaser as well.
