    I consider myself a sushi aficionado. While I've had better sushi outside of Uruguay, I think this is the best sushi place in Montevideo, so far. I have enjoyed all of their sushi and It's nice that they give you a free mini appetizer. Sometimes service is a little slow, but we've always had friendly waiters/waitresses. If you need a sushi fix, this place should do it.

    Nice value for money place.. the ambience inside is lovely and the way they serve in a ship sized dish and all - Excellent presentation. We sat outside and were well attended and served on time. It's right around the corner of the busy street so well lit and decent presence of people around.

    Delicious salmon Poke bowl. The owners are very friendly. The place is small, so plan accordingly. The prices are reasonable. Just a heads up they do not take American Express.

    Not only was the sushi one of the best I've tried, but the sous-chef was fluent in english and had a great attitude!

    Good value. Pretty darn good food. Go earlier than later as there is only one waitress. Also, knock on the door if needed. They keep it locked through the open time for security I presume even though a safe area in general.

    More of a Uruguayan style sushi place: lots of salmon and cream cheese. Service was amateurish and slow. Konichi Wa a block away still has a more "real" Japanese/Asia restaurant with much less cream cheese and more cooked Chinese style dishes

    Very nice Japanese food, I was not able to try the ramen but the miso soup, chicken teriyaki and tonkatsu are very good. The place is very small, but cozy. We couldn't try the ramen cause they didn't have it at that moment, so you should consider making a reservation in case you want that.

🫤 Not as good as the Google rating. Fried fish is OK, very basic food. Nothing special here. Service was good. The seating is very poor quality and not as nice as pictured, unfortunately as it is near the water but with no water views.
