The service was excellent and the waitress was kind enough to chat and explain about some of the policy and practices of employment and health care in Uruguay. A rubgy team came in and it was an atmosphere of comraderie. The food was absolutley astounding! I love the chivitos. No sandwich can compare to Uruguay's national dish, the chivito, and although this was the only one I sampled, it had to be the best in the country.

This is where you'll find one of the best "chivitos" in the country. For a real Uruguayan treat, stop here and say hi to Juve, you will be treated to amazing unique food and great service. You can't leave Uruguay without trying a traditional "chivito"

Cheap and decent plate of food, they have entrecot and other meats. Nothing special but if you´re looking for a normal place with a fair price, you´re gonna leave happy.

Great place to try chivito. Especially when you are on a tight budget and Uruguay it's not as price friendly. If you want a solid portion of meat, you should try he Chivito Marcos, with all the ingredients inside. Can guarantee, that you won't be hungry till next morning. So why I put 4/5? Two things: first, the fries were terrible, like someone fried them twice. Second, no local Uruguayan beer, just a "beer" from Belgium, Stela Artois.
