Dark, hot and humid rooms with no ventilation. The staff is pretty much incompetent, the facilities are in bad shape and the common areas are noisy. Overpriced (15% more than better hostels) The location is the only good thing about this place, stay away unless there is no other place avaliable

+ Location Portable water Staff seems nice - It's not worth the price they charge. No AC in the room. Kitchen has really bad equipment. You have to pay for a towel.

2 out of 3 times I unexpectedly needed a place to stay in Montevideo this place came through, one time in the women's dorm. Once in a supposedly mixed dorm, much to the men's surprise. Everyone slept fully dressed that night. Thanks! The 3rd time they warned me ahead of time that there would be no bed that night.

The kitchen is small, but the service is great and the rooms are clean, both the individual and shared rooms are spacious. There's also a bar at the terrace where you can chill and order some "tragos". Really good value.

Very clean and safe. great staff and ok breakfast! Only bad thing is: maybe a little to far from city center (1,5-2km), but on the other side very close to the bus terminal (from where you arrive/go to Colonia etc, about 600m)

I really enjoyed my stay in that hostel! The staff is friendly, professional and they know a lot about what to do in town. It's clean, the breakfast was delicious and the localization is perfect! I would definitely go back !

Excellent staff, good breakfast, great room (10 bed dorm little noisy with road traffic but we sleep like logs) and very clean. Bit further out of the old city than other hostels but Montevideo is not too big and we enjoy walking!

Walking distance from Tres Cruces bus station. VERY very friendly and helpful reception staff! (Spoke English) We ended up not even staying there (was little out of our price range). Yet for 5-10min, they let us use their wifi internet connection, while we got our bearings etc. You walk-in front reception and realize right away, it's a nice place. For letting us use internet, I promised I would write them a review:) All good!

Staff were great, nice breakfast, clean room, but noisy (both street traffic and late night party on the rooftop)

Well located, just a few blocks from Tres Cruces shopping centre. Friendly and polite service, they'll gladly help you find anything you need in the city. The room was clean an comfortable. You can have breakfast there even if it's not included in you booking for 200 Uruguaian pesos. But bring your own toiletries. There is a lift so it's comfortable even for people in a wheelchair. The room's got AC, Wifi and TV I came with my husband and the front desk clerk and receptionist were all very kind to us.
