I
had
a
bad
experience
with
this
clinic
(adult
sector)...
I
found
a
nursing
staff
that
was
very
unempathetic,
not
very
patient
and
at
times
very
cruel...
Threats
as
a
form
of
control
"if
you
don't
go
to
sleep
now,
I
will
"We're
going
to
tie
you
up,"
mockery,
denials,
punishments
(such
as
leaving
patients
incommunicado,
without
visits
or
calls,
which
in
themselves
are
a
3-minute
rule,
without
giving
them
an
explanation)...
Not
everyone
resorted
to
these
bad
practices
(there
were
nurses
that
they
were
good
and
considerate)
and
it
also
depended
on
how
good
a
bond
each
patient
developed
with
them,
but
this
does
not
make
the
above
admissible
in
any
way.
If
a
person
suffered
a
crisis,
the
default
response
was
to
leave
them
tied
to
their
bed
for
hours
(or
days...)
and
with
almost
no
attention
(I'm
talking
about
needing
to
put
diapers
on
these
patients
for
the
number
of
hours
they
had
been
tied
at
a
stretch).
...);
hoping
that
this
alone
would
resolve
-
in
some
magical
way
-
the
patient's
psychological
crisis.
It
is
understandable
that
the
practice
of
holding
a
patient
for
safety
is
unavoidable
in
some
situations,
but
not
in
these
ways.
If
it
weren't
for
the
other
patients
and
the
operators
(who
weren't
always
there,
and
didn't
have
access
to
a
person
in
a
restraint
situation...)
the
support
simply
wasn't
there.
As
for
the
infrastructure,
the
positive
thing
is
that
there
is
a
very
nice
and
green
patio
where
activities
such
as
gymnastics
take
place
from
time
to
time,
which
is
not
very
common
in
these
clinics.
The
negative
thing
is
that
there
are
three
flights
of
stairs
in
the
house,
one
of
them
very
steep
(access
to
the
dining
room
which
is
in
the
basement)
and
since
not
all
patients
are
allowed
to
use
the
elevator,
risk
situations
arise
such
as
people
who
are
very
dizzy.
because
of
their
medication
that
they
are
forced
to
go
down
these
stairs
to
eat.
It
would
be
important
that
at
least,
if
you
see
someone
dizzy,
or
if
someone
claims
to
be
dizzy,
they
can
use
the
elevator...
Ultimately,
if
you
are
faced
with
the
need
to
be
admitted
and
have
the
choice,
I
would
study
other
options
first.
As
unfortunately
there
do
not
seem
to
be
many
good
clinics
within
Montevideo,
if
this
is
your
only
or
best
alternative
(since
it
has
an
agreement
with
many
mutual
insurance
companies),
be
prepared
for
what
awaits
you
(for
you
or
your
loved
one)
and
I
hope
you
take
a
good
surprise...
I
read
in
comments
that
some
people
did
have
positive
experiences,
and
perhaps
since
my
time
there
there
was
staff
turnover
or
change
in
forms
after
complaints
from
patients...
I
don't
know.
I
leave
2
stars
instead
of
1
because
I
understand
that
much
of
what
I
describe
is
a
symptom
of
a
larger
system
that
is
failing
and
not
just
this
one
clinic.
However,
to
the
friends
and
family
of
the
owners
and
workers
who
I
see
recently
left
5-star
reviews
without
ever
having
had
the
experience
of
having
to
go
through
the
center,
I
leave
you
this
message:
I
hope
your
wish
comes
true
and
a
One
day
the
clinic
will
become
a
5-star
place
for
the
care
and
recovery
of
patients,
but
know
that
the
sad
reality
is
that,
today,
for
the
vast
majority
of
patients,
it
is
not.
