Nice terminal. Some food places. Clean bathrooms. Service at immigration and customers is fast. Get little early to terminal if you don’t like lines. We went to colonia and Montevideo and had nice experience. I would probably get there 1-1.5 hrs before for Buqebus. Books says 2 hrs but they are closed that early in morning if you have a 7.30 boat

There is a Boat and You can buy Boat Tickets anywhere and You have take a Transportation. To get there They allow Cars and A a lot of People because Coivd 19 and you have to wear mask when you are at the Boat you can eat there. Until your destination.

Small terminal area but very efficient. Arriving here with a motorcycle, the officer is very helpful and friendly. The process was so quick. It took less than 30 minutes to get all the custom papers done.

Very efficiently run port. Check-in was very fast and simple. Boarding was done in an orderly manner. So was the disembarking process. Passengers with cars and business class passengers were allowed to get off first before the rest. Very impressed.

Under bad form of transportation to get back and forth across the bay to Montevideo from Buenos Aires. It is a little strange that the carpet is kind of trashed inside the boat and yet they make you wear these funny slipover covers on your shoes. Somehow they figure that's better than replacing the carpet with a more durable indoor outdoor style carpet or something. Definitely do not exchange money at the Cambio on the boat as they charge about 30% to change the money it's absurd. But on the plus side the seats are comfortable there's food and beverage available and it's relatively quick.

A busy, weary looking place, but locals are courteous and friendly. Watch your step as the sidewalks and pavers are often not level.

Horrible Buquebus, take airplane instead. Same or lower price half the time or less. Even the regular bus probably be faster and 1/3 of the price.
