Your hearts become overwhelmed, your adrenaline will be high, and the sound of Goal..... A place worth visiting.. Went there to see match Venezuela vs Uruguay.. What a match... 4-1 ... My heart was beating faster than ever, the excitement, the crowd, the energy ... No place can match this...Soy Celeste....

If you’re a football fan, then this is a must-see. It’s nothing over-the-top like other stadiums, but it’s cute and homey. The people working here are very kind. It felt so lovely to see where the first ever FIFA World Cup was held.

Very happy I could visit a match in the cradle of World Cup football. Very old stadium which need refurbishment (but fortunately not happened yet). Very nice experience, very easy to visit (you need to buy tickets online), in a nice summer evening (sit on the side of the main stand) and poor football 🫣

Great watching experience. But there were no seats in Amsterdam P9 section. The concrete cement was becoming hard to sit on after an hour.

One of the great stadiums of world football. Site of the first FIFA world cup in 1930. It would be fitting to have the 2030 final here.

Unfortunately closed to the public on the day I went, even though I saw on YouTube there was a stadium tour and read other reviews saying it was closed,I thought surely not closed agains.i would of loved to of seen where the first world cup was taken place and won but too be fair just like the whole city, very quiet and boring because the country is so expensive nobody really visits. two and a half times expensive as Brasil and Argentina.

It's a excellent space to go with family even if you do not go to the stadium you have a whole park to go with your kids and dogs and run around.

Historic stadium of first World Cup in 1930. Highly recommended to visit the extensive and charmingly nostalgic Museo de Futbol with access to the stadium with fantastic views.

We were at the mUseum (museo del fútbol ) and it closed at 3pm, but the official website says it closes at 5pm. We came from far and could not to see it because of this wrong information. Very disappointed!

👍👍 An exceptional stadium for its history and for being in permanent "growth". It is where the 1st was played. World Cup match in July 1930. In addition, 2 Copa América (which Uruguay won) were also played in the GRAND PARQUE CENTRAL. Highly recommended, a must for any visitor who arrives in Montevide...
