Restaurant Mexican restaurant

👍 Fun little Mexican restaurant that’s tucked away on a quiet street. The vibe outside was great and it really felt cozy while we were there. The drinks were good and the food was just okay. The quesadillas were more saucy than anything but still good. Would go back and try out a few other options nex... People often mention good, Mexican, great, options, service, restaurant,

This place is great. The best Mexican food I've had since I left north America. The drinks are really good and I would highly recommend this place.

Nice place in Mexican Rock‘n Roll Style. The tacos are good, the enchiladas are supreme. Haven‘t got them better. Staff is friendly and good.

The food was AMAZING. Really nice service too. I definitely recommend the nachos as a start and the enchiladas as the main dish. They also have their own salsas, vegan mayo and aioli. If you like Mexican food, this is a must.

Fun little Mexican joint tucked away with all the cool kids. Visiting in summer meant lots of outdoor dining and this place has it in spades. Plenty of comfy seats with good lighting make for a welcoming atmosphere. We didn't get to try the food, but it did look tempting.. Drinks were great though and the service was prompt and friendly. All you can ask for, really. A winner 🏆🙌

The best Mexican I've had in ages... Or possibly ever. The tacos were booming with flavour. Texture was perfect.

Appetizing and friendly place. There is a balcony with seats for guests. A lot of beautiful Mexican art inside. We waited order no more than 10 minutes

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and multiple options for vegetarians. The food is flavorful, which makes this place stand out from many other restaurants in Montevideo where they don't put a lot of seasoning on the food. It can get busy here on the weekend, so consider going on a weeknight if you don't have a reservation.

Went there on a quiet afternoon to have early dinner. Shared small nachos with my girlfriend as an entree which was a fantastic choice and it made us very excited for the main course. We had a prawn burrito and a mixed meat quesadilla which did not disappoint. As it was happy hour we got 4 cocktails for the price of 2 and they were strong as hell so we definitely walked out more than tipsy. It was hard to get the waiters attention so I had to go into the restaurant and order there as well as ask for the check twice. The location is very colourful and located in a quiet side street near a busy neighborhood.

The place and service is amazing, but food is too pricey for the portions, u do like that they give you sauces (sweet and spicy) with the food.... If you just want a all bite is perfect and has vegan options!

Food was pretty good, definitely enjoyed the quesodilla! Our service was so-so. Our first waitress abandoned us after taking our orders (probably due our lack of Spanish) even though she had apparently served one person in our party multiple times before 🤷🏾‍♀️ Our second waiter was nice, however, since we were outside away from most of the other patrons, we felt a bit abandoned. It took awhile for the food to get to us and one of our orders never made it out. My party walked 15 minutes to the restaurant with no problem, but as soon as we sat down we started experiencing mild allergic reactions to something. A few minutes after we left, it had cleared up. If you experience any symptoms, I recommend asking to sit inside.

Great food. Quite pricey though. Not too many ice cubes in lemonades, mocktails would be good.

Mouth watering Enchiladas and Tacos. It was great to see vegetarian options also available here. Loved it. Coming back again.

This is a place i regularly visit. They have very good micheladas which I enjoy a lot. I haven't had the chance to try their other tragos but I surely will in the near future. Coming to the food, they have a good variety of items. My favorite is the tacos. They have a good combo which is good for 2 people.

I had a wonderful meal and excellent service. The staff was very knowledgeable of all the dishes and very helpful with recommendations. We were 5 at the table, and we're able to try and share different things. They were all excellent, and service was very speedy in spite of the restaurant being crowded. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back on my next visit to Montevideo.

Friendly staff, strong drinks. I recommend the nachos. Patio seating and they take American Express.

Five Mexicans and a Chilean honorary member arrive on 15th September looking for a little homespun cheer and conviviality. The staff and patrons here couldn't have been more accommodating, they really went out of their way to make six "blow-ins" feel a little north-south fraternal warmth. The place? Montevideo. La onda? ¡Viva México!

Great place! Ambiance is nice and waiters are very friendly. They have a really nice menu with vegan and gluten-free options. Totopos/Nachos are home-made and can be topped with Meat, Chicken, Pork or Mushrooms. All of them also come with Guacamole and Cheddar. The smaller portion is good enough for two people. Tacos are also really good and come in a variety of options. The quesadillas and the fried peppers weren’t my favorite but still a good dishes. All dishes come with a couple of bottles of home-made ali-oli, spicy chili sauce, sweet chili sauce and you can ask for extra-spicy sauces with no extra charge. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Amazing food, the only place where I’ll eat and actually be satisfied. Small place but great ambience and service.

Very nice little place. Quite small premises with accommodations on the sidewalk. Food is great but it lacks proper hot sauce for a Mexican food restaurant.

As a Mexican American, it was lovely to have some quesadillas and enchiladas. Gluten free options really made my day. Ambience and staff was great. Nice relaxed outdoor dining, with great food 10/10.

Burritos aesthetically very pleasing. Great flavour. The tortilla was okay, falling apart slightly as overcooked. Portions aren't very big, without an option to upsize.

Cool, trendy, contemporary Mexican. Urban hip crowd. Popular. Excellent fare, with great flavors. A little short on space though.

🫤 Not as good as the Google rating. Fried fish is OK, very basic food. Nothing special here. Service was good. The seating is very poor quality and not as nice as pictured, unfortunately as it is near the water but with no water views.
