We’ve been here many times over the years on our annual trip to Dayton. The staff always finds a way to take care of our large group and the food is always some of the best in town. We hope to be back again next year. We were lucky enough to get here when the brisket wasn’t sold out this time! Shy was amazing!

I came for my sister’s birthday and definitely will come back! Seating was quick, food was delicious and our server, Cierra, was outstanding! She was quick, efficient, and got everything right! Highly recommend for group outings! Request her, if you can!

Smokey bones has great food and service! Plus they have extended hours compared to most places around they are open late! You can’t come here & not try the fresh fried doughnuts that come with a raspberry and chocolate dipping sauce they are so amazing! I usually get a couple orders to go because the food is too good I’m always to fill to eat it right then. Definitely recommend this place!

Used them to cater our wedding! Excellent food, excellent service. Food was on time and everything was cooked to perfection. We had many guests compliment the food and say to us that it was some of the best BBQ they’ve had. The manager Bob was a pleasure to work with. He sat down and made sure we had everything we wanted and answered all our questions and worries. He made sure we had the right amount of food, not too much or too little. Sure enough it was the perfect amount. Would highly recommend coming here for catering or even for an evening out! Great service, great food, good times!

Ordered online received burnt food and the ribs looks like they used their hands, instead of a knife. Called with complaint Manger offers a refund or to remake the meal. Returned two days later and the Manger had my name in the computer and my meal was excellent.

First time dining in Dayton. Blown away by the brisket, potato wedges, ribs, and donuts! Service was friendly, helpful, and incredible. Definitely a 5 star experience! Great booths and you definitely will not leave hungry. Spoiled by the experience! 😁

My husband and I stopped in for my first visit at Smokey Bones. Our server was Destiny. She was very pleasant, helpful, and fun. We shared a 8 piece boneless wing and a Mag Nachos. When you go to a restaurant it's typically for food but we left there saying how much fun we had. The food was great! Our thanks to Destiny for helping to make the experience fun. Also, Destiny, thank you for the donuts. We now look forward to breakfast as we are too full to have them now.

If you go in peak hours you may have to wait but in the meantime you can enjoy some drinks from bar. Food was good perfect size of chicken and fresh veggies made it more delicious.

SmokeyBones Miller Lane. Great meal, great service! Alyssa who was assigned to our table was fast and efficient while having fun. The Hot Bag of Donuts was a great ending to a fantastically tasty meal. Sugar cinnamon coated HOT donuts with raspberry and chocolate dipping sauces. Yum!

From out of town, asked around for some good BBQ, this place came up. Ordered a spread to get a feel of what they had. The pork, brisket, and smoked cheddar jalapeno sausage were fantastic standouts. Our waitress was an absolute peach and on some crazy high 'A' game. Was a fantastic stop in.

Overall it was good , and my husband's combo actually came on a grill like with the charcoal and everything at the table !! Which he enjoyed a lot! see photos. The cornbread is phenomenal along with the fried donuts absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic. I was however disappointed in the chicken wings they tasted Frozen as in a taste like from the bag they weren't actually Frozen just to be clear . And the cheesecake was okay . However they have a lot of great deals that I'm excited to come back and try a lot of really advertising looking combos and if you like barbecue then you'll definitely be happy so I definitely recommend you guys try !

I love the Smokey bones on Miller lane. My husband and I always agree that this place always has the best service and the food is always amazing. We make a trip at least twice a month it’s always a great atmosphere. the waitresses are the sweetest. Kate,Ashley, Alicia, Destiny, Christina and Misty always make us feel like we are visiting our 2nd family. Always leaving with a great experience. Great food great customer service.

This place was great to eat at with my family of 4. Gabby was our waitress and she was very polite and generous. She has a very friendly welcoming and my kids adored her. Would definitely recommend her services to all who eat here.

Isaac was very nice and always checking on us. He was very patient as this was my first time ever eating here. He even helped me navigate the menu and suggested items based on what I told him I liked. I think we found our new favorite place to eat! Thank you Isaac!

I was there two weeks ago on a Saturday and had one of the best chicken sandwiches. It's the one with the blue cheese dressing in it. I thought it was better than Chick-fil-A and that says a lot. The fries were fresh and crispy. My server Angie Golden was and is awesome and great at what she does. I observed her with all of the customers and she's professional, curious and quick. Overall I've never had a bad experience there.

Portions smaller than I am used to getting. Chicken was good and moist. The pulled pork was a little dry.

Service was awesome and on point. Misty the manager came by to make sure we were enjoying the food and Desire our server was amazing. The Bone Fire and the Double Stack were delicious and must tries for sure!!!

I want to say the food was fantastic. All three dishes we ordered was scrumptious. The waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. They also give a 10% discount for First Responders, active military, and veterans.

The food is amazing. We had a bonfire for 2. My daughter had Mac and cheese. I also had the cheesecake. However, the menu is way too big, there is some repeated items and a lot to figure out. If the menu was just a little more thought out this would be a perfect place.

My family had gone here 5-6 years ago; it had been a family favorite for special occasions. Food had always been great, always crowded, lively atmosphere, etc. We went there around 5:30 on a Saturday night. I was shocked that I found a parking space with ease. Another tip off was the sign on the front door that said, "This door is broken. Please use other door." When I entered, no one was in the waiting area. The place felt dead. The inside of the bar and dining area still looked great, but there were only about a dozen customers. The hostess seated us right away, and our server greeted us promptly and got our drinks and took our food order. The food aromas smelled amazing, but I couldn't get over the absence of the lively atmosphere I had so much enjoyed in the past. A few more customers came in while we were there, but nothing close to past experiences. I ordered boneless wings. When they arrived, they were like small chicken nuggets, the kitchen had skimped on the sauce, and they were cold. In the past, my food had always been piping hot and the portions had been generous. Our server regularly checked on us and was polite. Before we left, my wife used the restroom and said it needed a major cleaning. Three of us ate for about $53 plus tip. Afterward, we had dessert somewhere else. We reflected that the dessert was more memorable than the meal. It's really a shame. Maybe I should have ordered something else, or maybe we went there too early in the evening. So, final assessment: nice hostess and servers, lackluster kitchen and ambiance, with facilities in need of maintenance. I really hope they get the place back to former conditions and do something to bring in the people.

We had a party of nine, had over an hour wait to be seated because they were under staffed of servers. Our server was AWESOME and some of the food was good some not so good. The Mac and cheese was dry, corn overcooked and the brisket had good flavor but was chewy and looked more like shredded beef. If I am going to pay $25 for brisket I want some nice slices not pulled pieces like I received. I for one will probably not visit here again! Oh they did take the brisket off the check but not the sides.

Appetizer and drinks were great. Neither mine nor my husband's entree were made correctly. They remade my order, did not remake my husband's. The server is the reason you would want to go back. Hayden made our visit worth the trip. Hayden is fantastic! Funny, knowledgeable and outgoing. Probably will not go back due to 70.00 in good to get incorrect order just like our last visit. Thank you Hayden for everything attempted to do.

This was the worst. Had to reserve a spot online out of convenience for scheduling for Thanksgiving. Got here and we're told they don't take reservations. Well we did it on your website at your location. The hostess even told us not to get an attitude with me. Cool you didn't have to be that way. We made reservations it's on them Ordered food, 17.99 for this brisket sandwich. 17.99 more I'd have had a whole brisket at home, had I had time. I've worked thanksgiving and every other holiday for years. No excuse. You're company chooses to be open..

Terrible experience. I ordered food from here through a food delivery app and the food was terrible. I ordered the smoked pulled chicken and smoked Turkey and what I received tasted like simply boiled chicken. Zero flavor or taste. The bottom of the plate still had water from the chicken and broccoli was soggy from sitting in the chicken water. 🤮 Never buying from here again!
