Nice area, really enjoyed the river. There isn’t a bathroom at the parking lot for the trail. Most of the trail is paved and probably safe for people with disabilities. There is a large ramp with a light grade to get down the damn if you want to use it. Be careful around the damn opening it’s very dangerous and you could easily fall in. There is a lot of debris around it.

Went today and hiked a combo of the yellow/green trails. Trails were in great shape and there was very little trash.

The road through the park is one way with a walking path on the side. Even if the forest paths are snow covered and icy in the winter, one can walk along the road and feel safe. The waterfalls are interesting in the winter as they have many icicles. Patty Falls is close to the road and has a nice stairs down to the bottom of the falls.

The following is list of everything you will see and experience: 🐦 🏞 🐛🐞🦉🦆🌳🏡🐜🕷🦋🦗🐝🌞🌼🌸🐥🥰😊🐕🐾🐸🐍🪱🐌🚮🚻♻️. Great place to relax and have a picnic with friends and family! Long trails 🌳, very quiet and clean. Kids love it. Bathrooms, tables, slides, and fun. Bring water 💦 and enjoy a nature escape, relax, vent, turn off the phone for 10min. Everything will be ok! 🥰

One of the many parks around Aullwood Garden. A nice walk along the river that leads to a very beautiful and neat garden that is cross the street. Parking lot close to the river and to those who love kayaking there’s a small ramp to drop kayak into the river. Fishing lovers and enjoy their time and fish as the area close to the river is big. The park has a small picnic area close to the river. Admission and parking is free. The only restriction is that pets aren’t allowed inside the garden. All the place are kids friendly BUT parents pay attention to your kiddos as the river water is sometimes high and the stream is strong. The garden is a combination of different themes with a channel passing through it and a small pond. The trees is as old as hundreds of years and very high. Seating areas are available around the garden and each one has its own set. I love spending time at this place and highly recommend it.

A go-to if we can't figure out anything else to do. It's a very lovely place. Sometimes the lower trails are extremely muddy, so just be cautious unless you want a mud bath 😁

Came here for the first time today and hiked the Green trail. One of the best maintained trails I've seen. Fairly busy still given the weather, but not annoyingly so. Loved the waterfalls, definitely want to go back when there's more rain. Keep an eye out for the pumpkin ash trees. Super cool.

It was a beautiful day and I was in town on business. I wanted to get in a quick hike before meeting co-workers for dinner. I found Englewood via Google, it did not disappoint! Many different trails were available, and all the trails I took were well maintained and marked. If you’re looking for some good hiking trails in Dayton this is the place!!

Go here. If you've never been, go. If you've been, go back. A beautiful, local, large park. Paths for hiking, disk golf, water reserves, river, swinging benches, a play area for the kids, and more. Just outside Englewood. Close enough to be convenient, hidden enough to be beautiful. Discover your local parks.

We had a wonderful hike and saw Oak falls & Patty Falls. It was so peaceful. We got some beautiful pictures there. Love it!

The trail system here is varied, with several to choose from and overlaps make it easy to mix and match if needed. There’s also one accessible for people in wheelchairs, which is nice. Depending on where you start it can be very annoying to find trail markers on your first time there, and I had to wander a bit to figure it out. Once you find where you need to go it should be easy enough to navigate from there.

This used to be my favorite disc golf course but, sadly, I quit playing here because they've stopped mowing the rough. It's really pointless because, unlike golf, high rough in disc golf doesn't really add to the challenge of playing. It basically just creates a hindrance to having an enjoyable round, causing lost expensive discs and wasted time hunting for them, not to mention, itching legs for days after playing and embarrassment when introducing new players to this amazing sport. Hopefully, someday they will start maintaining it properly again but until then, I'll be playing elsewhere.

Large park. Well maintained. Clean. Trail maps posted at trail heads and key trail intersections. Trails are well marked and are well maintained. Trails are not difficult. Mostly easy. A few steep yet doable inclines depending on your trail direction. Martindale Falls and Petty Falls easiest to see. Oak Falls difficult to see from trail and potentially very dangerous if you scamper on either upper side to get a view. Swamp Forest with board walk is cool. Overall a very nice metro park when good trails.

I personally love taking my dog to the park and he enjoys walking through the different trails. Since most people are staying home it's easier to get out of the car with him and walk around. The only issue I have is people speeding, when I am driving through the park I have to constantly pull over because someone is driving fast behind me and on my bumper. Otherwise great place to take my dog even just for a ride if the park is busy he enjoys sticking out his head and he enjoys the stares he gets (he loves attention and loves it when people call him handsome).
