I come here when I don't feel like going to giant but now I'm only going to Giant. My last visit I brought those small pack of Hawaiian breads which turned out to have mold on the bottom of the bread. I didn't not notice that there was no expiration date on the package (which is required for grocery store to have on all perishable products) until I realized the mold. I go back to return the bread and get my refund. What upset me about the whole situation is the lack of empathy from the customer service associate. I didn't come in with any attitude or anything just simply stated what happened. He just gave me a annoyed look and asked if I wanted to get another one which of course I didn't want. I never got an apology and he just refunded my money without a word. So I'm guessing this is something that always happens here so please make sure to check your food items before you buy from this store and if you do unfortunately come across some moldy food don't expect anything but a refund. I on the other hand will NEVER be returning to this Safeway again.

I had to come back up here and give a review of this different Safeway. It's not the one that's up the street from me. It's in the opposite direction but they came through for me. I had went to Walmart last minute to get a couple of items. Their shelves were bare on every item I needed. Or the price was too high. So on my way back home I decided to try Safeway and they had everything I needed, at affordable prices too. And bonus gas rewards points!

The store is well kept. But i hate those self check out stations. They have something to say about anything. This is our place though and the staff are polite and attentive

Safeway in Goshen is very limited in what it sells. They sell Dietz and Watson but no wieners. They sell organic fake sour cream but no organic real sour cream. Organic blueberries, frozen , from Chile! My cashier was super nice which counts for alot!

Very wasteful place. Would make pasteries that would stack very high for aesthetic reason and to make the area looks full, then would throw away over 70% of them two days before expiration dates. They tried to compost but it was ineffective. Most would go in the trash. There are homeless and hungry people out there. The customers are paying for this waste. Do better. Stop overstockin. It is unnecessary and you are whats Lwrong with economy.

Quick in and Quick out. Good selection of products and convenient. Shelves were stocked very well.

Good parking. Well stocked. Reasonable quality and product pricing.

My husband and I had our Covid and flu shots at Safeway everytime it's available. Despite the long line at the pharmacy, Pharmacist and the pharmacy technician always cordial and accommodating.

milk was sour when i got home. the pizzas were moldy. all the food we got that was fresh tasted off. this store is a joke and management is obviously even a bigger joke for letting this happen.

Didn't have fruit on sale as advertised. I did self- check out and the service person on duty just watched me and never greated. You would think I was stealing. After less than 12 hours... I was bringing the fruit back because it wasn't on sale and the strawberries were rotten.

Tookie at Customer Service was so patient and helpful in helping me resolve an issue with the Safeway app. My phone number wasn’t linking the coupons to the total and Tookie called the Helpline to fix the issue. She then re-rang up all my groceries and helped me save over $65 in savings. Everyone was so helpful and the store isn’t jammed packed with customers every time we shop there so it’s definitely great.

Do not trust the AM cart attendant (old white guy) because he will steal your merchandise and help you look for it. I left my cell phone in the shopping cart and he took it. Once he realized I had a tracker on my phone he seperated from me and placed my phone near the deli when my phone was left outside in a shopping cart. You've been warn.....be safe

Great store. Very clean and quiet. This Safeway stocks all three versions of my favorite milk... Silk's Protein NutMilk 2g sugar, vanilla, and chocolate. And there's a Starbucks inside. I'm supporting local businesses.

The check staff was very helpful and kind. I went early and found it to be well stocked. However, prices keep going up and up.

My go to Safeway location! Well stocked store and very friendly employees. Produce selection is always super fresh. Store is always immaculate clean.

Has 2 ways to enter parking lot. The exit onto Goshen only goes right, so plan your parking experience. Restrooms are on inside right when you enter the store from the right entrance. Associates are friendly and knowledgeable of product location. There is a Starbuck's inside the afore mentioned entrance on inside left. There is a gas station with 7-11 in shopping lot. Please be aware of pedestrians crossing from 7-11 to local neighborhood. Shoppers has sign up with store for gas perks

This store gets worse year after year. I've been going here since they opened like 20 years ago. Older workers are fine - still friendly and try to help. Younger workers not so much (I know generalization is wrong but...). This morning I was looking for a particular coffee and there was a young AA worker doing something near me. I walked down and asked her if where I can find this particular brand of coffee. She points me to the coffee section (where I came down from) ans says "it should be there." Really Sherlock? Absolutely no help. A min or two later (I was still looking) she passed me (so she knew I was still looking) like I wasn't even there... Good lord. I am being kind with two stars.

Love all Safeway stores as they are clean, well stocked and have a variety of options and offerings in nearly all categories. Prices are good and comparable to most other competitors. Typically have a good number of check out lines open and have self serve checkout too so you can get in and out quickly.
