This park is high traffic and has excellent potential, but it is very neglected. It is at the point of being dangerous. Some improvements are being made. However, they need to block off the dangerous areas until they can be fixed. A child could easily get injured. Watch for the broken/frayed metal pieces.

Decent sized park for the kids. Lots of different play sets for different ages of kids and some unique play sets that I haven't seen before. It was a little on the not maintained side, with some broken swings and a broken seesaw, mother wasn't maintenance person there so maybe they are in the process of fixing them. We stopped here as a pitstop on a road trip for the kids to run around. Would go again!

This park used to be nice now there is a lot of disrepair and an area with ripped-out boards and long nails sticking up. It looks like the city started working on something maybe replacing those boards in the area where the ground is uneven and then just stopped and left everything halfway finished. Not cool for a playground with lots of little hands and feet everywhere. Many swings and other pieces of playground equipment are Broken ripped off in need of repair, etc. The swings that do work desperately need WD-40. I will try to go on the city website and put in a work order The restrooms were horrible there was graffiti and the cleaning freshener was so strong it brought on an asthma attack. I bring my three grandchildren here and enjoy it it is a nice place to watch the sunset and relax but it could be a lot nicer if the City Of Montgomery made more of an effort. Unfortunately it is not on the fancy new part of town which gets all the new equipment and priority services. Evidently the city montgomery does not care anymore about anything west of Perry Hill Road. That's a bad attitude for us being the capital city and them claiming they are trying to fix things up to attract tourists. That only applies to the downtown area.

This place contains a great walking trail for those who are looking to get into shape. There are also several playgrounds for the children. The playgrounds are full of entertainment and they seem very safe. My child really enjoyed the playground.

I absolutely love to go walking here with my sistas. I can also kinda watch my kids as I walk. The trail is very scenic and peaceful to walk. There is a little piece where you encounter some traffic but it's no biggie.

A huge spacious park that is clean and well maintained. A walking trail, plenty of room for bikers, and a children's section with plenty of climbing monkey bars and swings. A family friendly park for everyone.

The city should really update the tennis courts and improve drainage of rainwater off the surrounding grassy areas. Years ago, this was a beautiful park and the city needs to give it a little bit more attention.

We are in town and took our 7yo he quickly met other kids and made friends. Great clean park that even has bathrooms. Love the artwork and walls giving the history of the park.

This park is beautiful. Lots of open space for people to run around in. It has tennis courts, multiple playgrounds for different age groups. It has a small theater seating area if that is your thing. It has a large walking track, a backstop if you fancy sports that require them. It has some shaded areas, but is mostly full sun. It has a covered area with picnic tables with an attached bathroom, however you should avoid the bathroom if possible. Every time a family members comes out of that thing it is described as abysmal or worse. Which isn't surprising, a lots of kids go in there and it is 70-105 degrees 80 percent of the year. Also be mindful of the ruts the grass cutting equipment leave behind. There were also some sizable limbs left over from a storm still about on the ground. Also, as with most aging parks some of the equipment and structures need maintenance or repair, and some things have simply been removed, leaving exposed metal with bolt heads sticking out of the ground. My kids are older and know better than to mess with that stuff but younger kids might need closer than normal supervision around that playground section. Overall I enjoy the park very much, I just wish they would start upkeeping it better.

Vaughn Road park is nice. The kids love it. I wish it was updated again, some of the equipment has worn out. It is a Great place to just allow the kids to run and jump safely.

Great park for kids of all ages. In bad need of repair, however. Multiple playgrounds created for different age groups. It would be great to have a dog park here!

It is a pretty big park. Has a nice walking trail, decent tennis court, lots of open space, and 3 playground areas. 2 of the 3 have been loved over the years but kept up. The 3rd one is more modern and handicap kids friendly.

The park is beginning to fall in disrepair and needs some improvements around the area. It use to be one of the best parks in Montgomery.

A large park, lots of things to do for the kids. However, a significant portion of the equipment is unsafe. The wood of much of the equipment is so rotten and broken it's hard to believe it could be allowed to be open.

This is a great big park that is centrally located and has space for everything. There is enough space for football games, soccer games, ultimate Frisbee and medieval games all at the same time. There is a long walking path and play equipment for small children. Unfortunately, like many places in Montgomery there aren't enough trees or shade. So this park is great for about 3 seasons out of the year but in the summer it's just too hot. It's also a safe place to exercise.

Nice park for the family. Plenty space for whatever activities you can think of... Playgrounds, birthday party setups, huge fields for football, frisbee, baseball. Paved circle track for the walkers and runners. Pretty much everything one would need for a fun park day.
