Newks is a great choice if you’re looking for a relatively quick and possibly healthier choice to eat on your lunch break. I’ve been here many times throughout the years since it opened and most of the time my meal is good. The pandemic cause a lot of businesses to take a hit and Newks is no exception. The food is still good, however most customers like myself choose to get their meals to-go. They have opened the restaurant up for indoor dining, but it usually doesn’t get too busy except during lunch hours on business days. We came on a Saturday, so it was quite with a steady stream of people coming in and out. I ordered the black&blue salad, it’s my favorite menu item, it taste delicious and travels well if you’re getting one to go. They also sell it at the to-go counter if you just want to grab a ready made one. My kid ordered the margarita pizza, also a favorite. They do have a kids menu, but mine has outgrown it. They also have an app that can be helpful for ordering or catering. You also earn points and can get a free slice of cake on your birthday. So far my favorite cake they sell is the strawberry cake. It’s so good, sweet with a bit of tartness.

Newk's is so underrated. The Pizza was great, maybe the best single serving pizza I have had at a restaurant. The Mac and cheese I expected to be eh, and it came looking flame broiled but once I started eating it I didn't stop until it was gone. I think it is hands down the best at any chain restaurant also. Not only that but I have to speak about being addicted to the Newks Q sandwich now too. Rewards program and the app are clutch. Customer service is excellent. I forgot to redeem my rewards on my last mobile order for my drink and a manager gave me one on the house. Nothing bad I can say

Good food, seemed just a bit high priced. Tea wasn't good had an after taste and I know good tea. They need to switch brands or something. They offered sweet and unsweetened made with sugar or Splenda which is a nice touch. I had the Italian which was good, but smallish. I don't mind small for lunch.

Really clean restaurant. First visit, pleasantly surprised. Food portions were really big, food was great. Customer service was really good, fast and friendly. We will come back. Way better food than Panera!

I've been to this location of Newk's before and it was good, but I was disappointed with our visit at this location this time. We waited in line for a bit because they appeared to be short staffed, but since there was an online / app order option, we opted to do that. The staff (although short staffed) were friendly. The store overall seemed a little dirty, however. I think this location may be facing a staff shortage and I try to be mindful of that, but the experience was not great. I hope they work out the kinks soon.

The food was delicious and service was great as always. They were very mindful of making sure our needs were met. After we ate, it began to pour outside. One of the employees grabbed an umbrella and walked everyone to their cars. Talk about 5 star service! Newk’s never disappoints.

I ordered to go. My salad was infested with bugs, they don’t look like fruit flies. I’ve never had this happened to me before. They were just crawling out of my salad. It’s disgusting. There is must be a problem with cleanliness in this place.

The service was terrible. The hostess at the front door thin greeted for over 10 minutes and probably would have been longer if a woman that didn't have a to-go order didn't mention to her that we were waiting. The food was terrible. Not more than cafeteria food and the pizza taste it like a frozen pizza. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Don't waste your time or money.

It's way too cold in this place. It had been 9 years since I last visited Newk's and it was freezing then too, but I went with a group and this is where they chose. I had the pimento cheese sandwich with bacon added. It was good, but could have used more pimento cheese. One member of our party had their order forgotten and we were through eating before they got theirs. He had to show his receipt to show them what he'd ordered. It wasn't busy in the restaurant, but they did have a help needed sign on the door.

My daughter and I had lunch here today. Our food was not good. Shrimp and Avocado salad and Supreme Pizza with cauliflower crust. Very disappointing. There was debris, of some sort, from the machine in my drink. The energy here is really sad (not just bad but actually sad.) There was no urgency in the customer service, nor was it welcoming. This is just not my style of restaurant. Caring, attentive customer service would have made a huge difference. It's job 1.

Newk’s… a better name would be NEW BUILDING… I entered into the building with a gift card just as happy as could be. That turned left- quickly! I waited in line for all of 15mins as they only had one worker taking orders for both dine in and carry out. The registers were the distance of the Great Wall of China… nevertheless, as I waited for her to walk the great walk… I kept feeling a subtle splash of water hit me (mind you it was about to rain outside- a slight drizzle). I looked up and I be darned if it weren’t mold and leaky ceiling. Disgusted, but there with a 20 dollar gift card, I ordered. The food was alright. The bbq chicken pizza was pretty tasty. And the Cesar salad was just that. I would recommend a takeout experience and a professional Development course on how to communicate with your customers. (Sn a simple, “ I will be right with you” would have sufficed).

We came on Sunday after church. I ordered the black and blue salad. The meat on it was cold and very tough! The whole salad was not our together well at all. I was extremely disappointed with this salad! I will not order it again.

Oh my goodness the Greek salad was amazing. I want to try all the sandwiches and the pizza smells delicious!

The food was very good, all the servers were helpful and kind, and the restaurant was clean and spacious.

Their BBQ chicken pizza and Mac & cheese are so dang yummy. The turkey avocado sandwich is also good!

Nice to have a healthy option for lunch with even healthier portion sizes! My husband had the cobb salad (mostly romaine lettuce), and I had the chicken salad sandwich and tomato soup. Yum! Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Service was order at the pay kiosk and I liked that they gave you an actual plastic to-go tumbler with your drink. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, such a nice ambiance. It's the perfect place to have a nice quiet casual lunch. The pick two is wonderful and reasonably priced! I really enjoy eating here

I had only eaten Newks at work (catering). Caleb our cashier was very nice and patient. He asked us what we liked and didn't like so he could make some suggestions. We ended up with the ultimate salad, the salmon ceaser salad, and the chicken tortilla soup. Caleb was right we loved it and it was delicious!

Had hard store bought croutons and the Newk’s Q was served barely warm. Workers let it set out to get cold to hangout with other people in the dining area. Whole kitchen was empty for a solid 10 minutes and then they decided to make the salad for the order. Experience was not good. I do not recommend eating here.

Great salads 🥗😋👌.. but older black female cashier/server at register today Sun 6/25/22 around 11:30am was abrupt & rude while we were ordering our food. She was basically ignoring my Mom's questions, prompting me to repeat them - whereupon team member copped a nasty combative attitude. We then had misfortune of her bringing our salads to table. She didn't speak to us at all, just slung them on the table and walked away without a word. I observed much younger servers being very friendly, smiling as they delivered food to patrons, asking them if there was anything else they needed, etc. Also younger woman at cash register order intake area with rude one was far more pleasant and professional as well, smiling and looking everyone in the eye as person in service industry job should. Perhaps older rude server should just do non-diner-contact food prep. She really offended my 76 yr old Mother, which is neither appreciated nor excusable. Addendum: floor by beverage station and condiments/bread stick station was soaking wet. No one ever ever brought a mop out, just put out a wet floor sign. The water reached the booth where we sat. Everyone, including the servers had to walk thru it. I was scared a worker or diner would slip/fall in it. The place was full of senior citizens, getting their beverages. Not 🆒.

Had the Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing, very heavily dressed. Missing the roasted garlic on the "extra bar" but enjoyed the meal.

Friends of mine brought me here after church one Sunday. I got a half sandwich with a cup of soup. It was very good. The place was filling up so it took longer to get our food but we didn't mind. A great place to eat.

My wife and I go here about every month after church. We will continue to go. I ordered the veggie pizza. Wow! It was one of the best pizzas I've had in Montgomery. Fresh mushrooms, 🫑 and more. Friendly staff too. Oh....almost forgot...great and fresh chocolate cake too.
