Montgomery Inn is a staple of Cincinnati! Whether you live here or just passing through, it needs to be in your must try list! Montgomery Inn is known for their famous ribs and their famous BBQ sauce. The two of these have resulted in them also being known as “Ribs King” and they are arguably the king of ribs! Their ribs are excellent! Ribs and Saratoga chips are all you need here to have a great dinner!

Great food in a fun, retro sports-themed atmosphere. Our server was pleasant and gave helpful advice. The ribs are what they are famous for. The pork chop was also good.

Today, my wife and I had dinner at Montgomery Inn, in Montgomery. Before we went, I reviewed the comments online to see what folks are experiencing here. I've been going here since 1978 when it was really the place for a very good meal. One compliant I read often and I agree with is the ribs were dry and my wife wasn't very much impressed with her brisket. I also had shrimp which was okay. Our waiter was just okay. I hate to see Montgomery Inn not keep up with other very good restaurants in our area. My rating probably should be a 3. We want to continue patronizing them, but if things don't get better, I'll get my ribs somewhere else.

My husband invited me to celebrate our 23 Anniversary in Montgomery Inn and we had a delicious dinner , the draft beer was Amazing refreshing and was fun to see the all famous sport memorabilia that they have! The ambiance is very nice and the waiters. The food was on time and we’ll done, the famous ribs was so tenders and juicy, also the strips steak very good too. We went in Sunday night and was very quiet so we can chat without noise. No parking in front but you can park close by in a free parking lot.

Wish I wouldn’t have listened to other reviews because the food was so crusty and dry. Disappointed. Food was cold and brisket & ribs couldn’t pull them apart. Told them about it and they didn’t even take it off the tab. Best thing I had was the butter and they didn’t even make that. I will not be back.

Heard about this place when I lived here but never tried. My ribs tasted boiled with kraft sauce. Wasn't a fan. Wife enjoyed the wagyu burger. Service excellent. Don't ask for a lettuce wrap! They don't know about that here!

My group of 3 enjoyed the unique and tasteful atmosphere of the Montgomery Inn. It was so relaxing to sit down for a delicious meal with excellent service. The ribs were delicious and the brisket - oh my goodness! Absolutely fantastic on the night I ordered it but I shredded it the next day and put it between slices of the extra bread that we took home with us. I'd say it was even BETTER the next day, which I didn't think could be possible. Our waitress was so kind and efficient. When we asked about the origins of the place she gave us a few insights and added that she loves working at the Inn. I love to hear that from people! It's no wonder this establishment has such a wonderful reputation. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll make plans to stop by for the brisket again!

Meat is a little on the dry side. BBQ sauce is very sweet (maybe a little too sweet). However, our server, Angel, was top notch! She was very on top of her game despite being extremely busy and working long hours through the holiday season. We will be back and hopefully will have her as our server again!
