Absolutely breathtaking. Has trails that you could use strollers, or mobility aids on. And then also more intricate trails. All are easy enough a child can walk, but uneven ground on the intricate ones.

You can't go wrong with a stroll through the nature trail here. Birds, insects and deer wander through. Lots of shady places to sit on nice benches. Bring lunch and enjoy!

Wonderful little place. Winding gravel trails. Great for getting your steps in or keep walking different loops to hit your miles. Lots of nature. Animals, flowers, trees and plants. QR codes on some of the trees so you can get more information. A beautiful little gem for Monticello.

23/09 Spectacular. A great walk. Lots of benches. I see it also as a thinking park or meditation park.

This is a nice little park inside the urban area of Monticello. The parking is easy to maneuver but some of the trails are still under construction. A nature center finally opened up on the property after a lot of construction delays but has very limited hours of operation.

Nice little area to walk on some trails. Not too much here, but it was peaceful and pleasant.

My family and I love to go for either a walk or bike ride here regularly when the weather is nice. It's also pet friendly so we will sometimes bring our dogs. It's not uncommon to see deer and other wildlife and there's a little box library u can donate and take books from. You might even find some painted rocks- my kid loves the painted rocks... It's one of my favorite go-tos when my littles need to get off the couch and out of the house! I wish it were bigger but other than that it's a very nice park. Also no restrooms so it's a good idea to go beforehand. :)

This is an awesome place to take grandkids. They can see wildlife. And use their imagination.

Nice place to go for a walk. Love taking the dogs there. It is peaceful and you can see all kinds of animals out there, as long as the people on the motor bikes aren't out there running around. Unfortunately it won't last long because people keep leaving their trash behind either on the trails or the benches. They do need some more trash cans to help with that a little. It won't stop it, but it may slow it down.

It's a urban oasis, the flowers and fountain meditation soothes and relax. A dog friendly, people friendly space welcomes light exercise and outdoor ampitheater provides gatherings of various community groups for all ages.Today you will find a guitarist onstage with a palmeranian puppy side kick for brief musical impromptu performance if your so very, very fortunate to discover the audiance rows and enjoy fresh aires!

Beautiful park. Itd be way better if they had a bathroom though. Even a portapotty would suffice tbh.

What a great legacy for the Altherr’s family. Loved the park which promotes the conservation of native nature!
