Urgencies
I
had
a
problem,
a
loss
of
senses,
being
in
Alcochete,
I
was
bad
and
needed
to
be
transported
here,
because
the
nice
and
attentive
firemen
ladies
(they
were
really,
really,
and
I
thank
you
for
all
the
attention)
said
it
was
the
correct
to
see
if
there
would
be
anything
and
that
it
would
not
take
as
long
as
elsewhere,
instead
of
following
a
path.
As
someone
already
said,
Waiting
time
=
1
hour
(yellow
bracelet)
...
and
this
for
service
that
they
call
urgently
...
I
waited
for
about
7
hours,
with
that
yellow
bracelet,
and
not
being
attended
to.
There
is
no
attention,
no
care.
There
is
no
clarification.
We
can
not
ask
anyone,
nor
security
guards,
nor
nurses,
nor
other
personnel,
who
are
all
very
offended
and
only
receive
a
"have
to
wait,"
frowning,
sometimes
ill-mannered.
There
is
no
forecast,
nor
give
any
prediction
of
attendance.
"Have
to
wait".
A
lack
of
respect.
Still
more
to
be
far
from
my
area
of
residence
and
not
knowing
what
to
do.
Words
can
not
be
addressed
to
the
nurses,
nor
can
they
do
anything,
not
out
of
necessity,
which
is
an
affront.
If
I
have
something
to
say,
or
to
ask,
or
to
ask
please,
I
have
to
go
through
the
security
guards
that
transmit
the
information.
They
quickly
forget
it
and
do
nothing,
nor
do
they
transmit
it.
And
a
person
without
knowing.
Nurses
laughing
and
telling
anecdotes,
what
you
hear
in
the
waiting
room,
for
those
in
a
difficult
situation,
is
great.
Security
guards
make
a
point
of
keeping
a
crowd
almost
crowded
in
the
waiting
room,
and
if
someone
came
down
the
hall
to
get
some
air,
they
got
nervous
and
spent
a
good
bit
of
time
moving
them
back
to
the
"cage"
that
catch
the
diseases,
the
viruses
and
the
bacteria
of
each
other.
Full
contempt
for
those
who
wait
hours
and
are
"caged"
hours
by
all
staff.
They
do
not
want
to
know,
they
do
not
have
attention,
whether
a
person
needs
it
or
not.
Anyway,
someone
here
could
well
die,
with
so
much
time
gone
by.
Who
needs
anything,
forget
it.
Yellow
bracelets
that
arrived
later
to
pass
in
front
of
yellow
bracelets
that
had
already
been
there
for
some
time.
Green
bracelets
to
pass
in
front
of
yellow
bracelets.
Lack
of
discretion
on
the
part
of
doctors,
nurses,
employees.
Calls
only
to
the
triage
to
succeed
themselves
and
to
be
attended
to
by
the
doctor,
the
calls
were
from
time
to
time,
without
any
dispatch.
Being
far
away,
being
sick
and
not
feeling
very
well
in
the
environment
(which
is
"slow
death"),
and
without
any
attention
from
any
staff,
I
ended
up
having
to
leave
without
being
attended
after
such
7
hours
and
still
not
expected
to
be
taken
care
of
or
the
time
that
it
would
take.
"Have
to
wait".
When
we
say
that
we
go
away
and
ask
ourselves
how
we
do,
it
still
seems,
as
in
everything
else
I
have
described,
that
we
are
doing
ourselves
a
favor:
"I
do
not
know,
I
do
not
know.
want,
it's
your
responsibility.
"
"It
should
not,
it's
up
to
you."
Should
not?
If
all
the
time
I
was
there,
if
I
had
returned
to
my
side,
being
at
home,
I
would
do
much
better
than
to
be
there,
under
those
conditions
and
in
which
I
do
not
know
if
I
did
not
come
from
there
more
sickly
than
I
entered,
is
quite
conducive
to
such.
There
is
no
respect
for
people
...
it
is
the
miserable
and
shameful
state
of
the
National
Health
Service.

Urgências
Tive
um
problema,
uma
perda
de
sentidos,
estando
em
Alcochete,
estive
mal
e
necessitei
de
ser
transportado
para
aqui,
porque
as
simpáticas
e
atenciosas
senhoras
dos
bombeiros
(foram
mesmo,
de
verdade,
e
a
quem
agradeço
toda
a
atenção)
disseram
que
era
o
correcto
para
ver
se
haveria
algo
e
que
não
demoraria
tanto
como
noutros
sítios,
em
vez
de
seguir
caminho.
Como
já
alguém
disse,
Tempo
de
espera
=
1
hora
(pulseira
amarela)...
e
isto
para
atendimento
que
lhe
chamam
urgente...
Esperei
cerca
de
7
horas,
com
a
dita
pulseira
amarela,
e
sem
ser
atendido.
Não
há
uma
atenção,
um
cuidado.
Não
há
um
esclarecimento.
Não
podemos
perguntar
nada
a
ninguém,
nem
seguranças,
nem
enfermeiros,
nem
outro
pessoal,
que
fica
tudo
muito
ofendido
e
só
se
recebe
um
"tem
que
esperar",
de
forma
carrancuda,
por
vezes,
mal
educada.
Não
há
qualquer
previsão,
nem
dão
qualquer
previsão
de
atendimento.
"Tem
que
esperar".
Uma
falta
de
respeito.
Ainda
para
mais
estando
longe
da
minha
área
de
residência
e
sem
saber
o
que
fazer.
Não
se
pode
dirigir
palavras
aos
enfermeiros,
nem
fazer
nada,
nem
por
necessidade,
que
é
uma
afronta.
Se
tenho
algo
a
dizer,
ou
a
perguntar,
ou
a
pedir
por
favor,
tenho
de
passar
pelos
seguranças
que
trasmitem
a
informação.
Estes
rapidamente
a
esquecem
e
nada
fazem,
nem
transmitem.
E
uma
pessoa
sem
saber.
Enfermeiras
a
rirem
e
a
contar
anedotas,
o
que
ouvindo-se
na
sala
de
espera,
para
quem
está
numa
situação
complicada,
é
óptimo.
Seguranças
a
fazerem
questão
de
manter
uma
multidão
quase
amontoada
na
sala
de
espera
e
se
alguém
vinha
para
o
corredor,
até
para
apanhar
ar,
ficam
nervosos
e
passado
um
bocado
toca
de
os
encaminhar
de
novo
para
a
"jaula",
onde
todos
amontoados
pode
ser
que
apanhem
as
doenças,
os
vírus
e
as
bactérias
uns
dos
outros.
Desprezo
completo
por
quem
espera
horas
e
está
horas
"enjaulado"
por
parte
de
todo
o
pessoal.
Não
querem
saber,
não
têm
atenção,
quer
uma
pessoa
precise
ou
não.
Enfim,
uma
pessoa
qualquer
ali
bem
podia
morrer,
com
tanto
tempo
que
passou.
Quem
precise
de
alguma
coisa,
esqueça.
Pulseiras
amarelas
que
chegaram
depois
a
passarem
à
frente
de
pulseiras
amarelas
que
já
lá
estavam
há
algum
tempo.
Pulseiras
verdes
a
passarem
à
frente
de
pulseiras
amarelas.
Falta
de
critério
por
parte
de
médicos,
enfermeiros,
funcionários.
Chamadas
só
para
a
triagem
a
sucederem-se
e
para
se
ser
atendido
pelo
médico,
as
chamadas
eram
de
tempos
a
tempos,
sem
qualquer
despacho.
Estando
longe,
estando
a
ficar
mal
e
a
não
me
sentir
muito
bem
no
ambiente
(que
é
de
"morte
lenta"),
e
sem
qualquer
atenção
por
parte
de
qualquer
pessoal,
acabei
por
ter
de
me
vir
embora,
sem
ser
atendido,
após
as
tais
7
horas
e
ainda
sem
previsão
de
ser
atendido
ou
do
tempo
que
tal
demoraria.
"Tem
que
esperar".
Quando
dizemos
que
vamos
embora
e
perguntamos
como
fazemos,
ainda
parece,
como
em
tudo
o
resto
que
descrevi,
que
nos
estão
a
fazer
um
favor:
"Não
sei,
não
sei.
Lá
fora.
Isso
é
com
vocês.",
"Faça
o
que
quiser,
a
responsabilidade
é
sua.".
"Não
devia,
é
consigo."
Não
devia?
Se
o
tempo
todo
que
estive
lá,
tivesse
regressado
para
os
meus
lados,
estando
em
casa,
faria
bem
melhor
do
que
estar
ali,
naquelas
condições
e
em
que
não
sei
se
não
vim
de
lá
mais
doente
do
que
entrei,
uma
vez
que
o
ambiente
é
bastante
propício
a
tal.
Não
há
qualquer
respeito
pelas
pessoas...
é
o
estado
miserável
e
vergonhoso
do
Serviço
Nacional
de
Saúde.
