Have already seen the third performance of the open-air theater. Today we saw the play 'Romeo and Juliet in the Village'. Like the first two pieces, we really liked it; it was a wonderful evening. We are already looking forward to the performance of 'Der Geltstag' or 'The Economy According to the New Fashion' by Jeremias Gotthelf in 2020.

A very wonderful museum in nature. You live with it in the past and learn about many things in it. It is not enough to visit it for just one day. Because it is very large and sprawling, this is the third visit, and I will also visit it again with my children and grandchildren. (Note) Do not forget to pay the parking fees and put the ticket on the windshield. I was given a ticket even though I put the ticket!! I went to the reception desk at the museum and it was canceled and the apology was made by mistake. Thank you

The Ballenberg is worth a visit at any time of the year. We like to use it for a leisurely walk from east to west or vice versa. We usually travel by bike.

Ballenberg is an open-air museum in Switzerland that displays traditional buildings and architecture from all over the country. Located near Brienz in the municipality of Hofstetten bei Brienz, Canton of Bern, Ballenberg has over 100 original buildings that have been transported from their original sites. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance.

My daughter has been playing with me since this year, so this year we'll be watching from a different angle. Until now, we've always been thrilled. And we’re excited about this year too. Our daughter is disappointed that she didn't get a text. This motivates them to be there again next year. 😊

Enough to see and do for kids but the hands on activities were quite widely spaced apart and there were definite end- times for them, so check the daily schedule and plan your route to avoid disappointment. We were a bit let down by the petting zoo area because we didn't get to pet any of the three goats there (there weren't any other animals!) and the chocolaterie was in essence a chocolate shop.

The play “Wyberhaagge” is brilliantly performed! The entire ensemble brings great joy, ensures lots of laughs and offers 100 minutes of magical, lively, thoughtful, amusing acting at its best in the impressive setting of Haus Ostermundigen. The Ballenberg Landscape Theater is one of the most beautiful open-air theaters in Switzerland and has a great ensemble! Also a compliment to Beat Schlatter, Christoph Fellmann (authors) and Pascal Ulli (director) and everyone involved who also worked in the background.
