This place is a hidden jewel 💎. Well at least for me. Cause I didn’t know they exists. Our son godfather Carlos, take my husband Carlos (btw) one day and after that he told me, “I need to take you to this awesome place”. And yes… is awesome. The customer service, the place, the food. Omg. My favorite is the calzone… they customize for me. I don’t like ricotta so, they did it the way I like it. The bruschetta omg 😱 are the best!!! So please, you need to go to this place. 100% recommended!

Cals Kitchen is beyond incredible… truly look no further for the absolute best homemade pizza, garlic knots, and Italian food in-town. Anna and her team put so much love into their food and service. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5 stars is not enough!

Wow!!!! What an awesome local pizza place! The bruschetta was phenomenal - so fresh, flavorful and the bread was just the right amount of crispy and soft. We got the Buffalo chicken pizza as well and it did not disappoint. The Buffalo flavor was just right, not overwhelming at all, and the chicken was fresh and tender. 10/10 would order from here again - so impressed!

I have been coming to Cal's for years now. This is hands down one of the best local Pizza shops I have ever been to! From the food to the service and staff, you couldnt feel more at home. Dont know what I would do without Cal's!

I got a side of meatballs and a coffee. I know, random. Anyway… let me tell you how amazing both were!! I’m very picky with my meatballs. They were tender, flavorful, and the sauce matched them perfectly as well! It’s a little sit down place. Order at the register, sit and wait. Their menu is like a regular restaurant menu, just not a sit and be served type of place. Thanks Anna!

So excited to have a fantastic Italian place nearby! The pizzas are very good NY style with fresh toppings and a yummy crust. Their antipasto salad is packed with tasty goodness. I'm always greeted with a warm smile and since it's right next to Montverde Academy there's a good chance you'll get to see future pro athletes.

I had high expectations for this pizza after some recommendations, but unfortunately it was far below what we expected. The pizza dough is good and tasty but it is the only thing that stands out. The side of meatballs with only 3 meatballs that tastes like food from the previous day. And the Margherita pizza without flavor.

Lovely little place, staff if friendly and inviting. The pizza is excellent and the coffee drinks are good. The owner is super nice. They are located close to the Montverde Academy and it is so pleasant to see students in there at times enjoying pizza and conversation together.

This food is amazing! The bruschetta was amazing! So fresh! All the food that I had was amazing! I will be coming back! I recommend!

Love love love this place! The family who owns it is the sweetest & the food is delicious!! I live about 40 minutes away, but it is so worth the drive. It’s a very cozy atmosphere too. 💕

UPDATE: So we ordered our usual again this week and when we went to pick it up the owner recognized our order. She was so apologetic and made sure our food was perfect—and it was! This was definitely a one-off!! Can’t tell you how happy we were, because we LOVE this place!!! SO UPSET! We literally order from this place EVERY week, and it's always amazing. This time our pizza was burnt, the veggie pasta was dried out on top, which means it sat under lights despite me waiting in the restaurant, and had no green onions or Reggianno Parmigiano--got mushy purple onions mixed in with the sauce and no cheese on top! When they showed me the food, I expressed my concern and the girl just looked at me and said "I have no idea what you mean." I just left with the food. I'm hoping this is a one off.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing! the food is great quality and delicious… pretty much my favorite pizza place!!

Stopped by on our drive from Gainesville to Orlando as we were looking for some “real” food and we were SO glad we did. The sourdough pizza was amazing - the best my daughter had ever had (and we took her to Italy last summer!) The salad was fresh and delicious and the meatballs were second only to Nonna’s, according to my son! Highly recommend and will stop again next time we do the drive…
