Beautiful when cherry blossoms are at full bloom! Overflow car park is near the river, and shuttle bus is 500yen round trip.

Hanamiyama Park is very beautiful right now. There are still a lot of cherry blossoms. We took the Shinkansen train to Fukushima and the city has a special bus setup t the train station for a 15 minutes ride to a place near the hillside park. The bus costs 250 yen each way and we bought round trip tickets. Be prepared for a lot of walking on asphalt, concrete and dirt. There are many places to buy food and drink but you can bring your own. There are also many portable toilets on the way from the bus stop to the park entrance.

Easy to get to by shuttle bus. Buses leave when full. 500 yen for return trip. Check cherry blossom status before going
