The reason for the low rating is as follows: loss of 2 stars because the beds were sooo hard, I never woke up feeling well rested because if I tried to sleep on my side it hurt and sleeping on my back all night was too much. Another loss of a star due to inconsistent service and how dated the rooms are. The check in and out staff were great, but the restaurant staff often didn't clear our table while servicing all the other Japanese families around us. Then we were waiting for the limousine bus bus and despite being the first in line, we were the last to board. So my take is that this hotel is not too friendly to foreigners. Would recommend staying at the Sheraton or Hilton next door.

we had a room with a screaming and crying baby next to it. when you’re exhausted from a full day of Disney, you just want to sleep. when it didn’t stop we went to the lobby and were offered another (even better) room immediately. we appreciated this service a lot! because of it we had a good night’s rest and could enjoy our second day in the Disney park!

We stayed in a very old and dated suite room, which was by far our most expensive hotel during our stay in Japan. It was convenient to get to Disney, but some decor was falling apart and the beds were SO hard. We did appreciate that we were able to store our luggage in the morning and they put the luggage in our room for us. However, not worth the price unfortunately and wish we would have stayed at a newer Disney hotel.

Clean, beautiful, and convenient hotel. Stayed here the night before my trip to DisneySea and will definitely stay here again. Got here on a Sunday afternoon to find that it was pretty deserted. With covid there seems to be no demand for hotels or the parks nearby, which I recommend taking advantage of. The room was very clean and was super comfortable. The tub was an awesome relaxing area for me. Just be sure to watch out for the slipper floor in the bathroom. Highly recommend this hotel if you are going to the Disney parks nearby.

Mediocre experience for what you pay for. We wanted our Disney experience to be a little elevated so we booked a suite in the Okura instead of the other resort hotels, but it’s not really what we hoped for. Checking in took over 25 minutes (!) because of the afternoon crowd. The hotel has no bars, and the restaurants are pretty bland with a “conference room” atmosphere. The suite itself was spacious and decent, but you can tell by the shower and media equipment that this hotel hasn’t seen an update in the last 10-15 years. Breakfast buffet was decent, but we had to eat at a table in the hallway (seriously) because the restaurant was at capacity. The only highlight is the staff because they were really kind and trying to elevate this place. I’m not saying it’s a bad hotel, but it’s also not worth the money you pay for. Next time I would rather get a cheap hotel close to the Disney resort, rather than paying a premium at the Okura for little extra value.

We stayed here while going to Tokyo Disney parks. We were immediately impressed with how nice the lobby was. The staff greeted us right away and checked us in within minutes. A staff member brought us and our bags up to our room. She carried our luggage in for us and protested when I tried to help. She gave us a tour of our suite and all the hotel services available to us. We were very impressed. The room was very very nice. Our suite had a king bed (the mattress is very firm, but we slept fine on it), it had a huge bathroom with tub and shower, there was a fridge, kettle and more. With our stay we got vouchers for breakfast each day and the buffets were amazing. The food is prepared differently than in the states, but we still very much enjoyed the expansive amount of food and drink options. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and will return if we ever come back to Tokyo Disney.

The room we had was spacious but VERY dated. Housekeeping was adequate. Wifi was free but unbelievable slow at times. Will probably try to book somewhere else next time. Front desk staff was friendly tho.

Could not leave fast enough. Went and stayed at another hotel. The beds were probably less comfortable than sleeping in the floor, and the restaurants were super expensive for food that was barely edible. There are also no good restaurants in the area. The only good thing was that the monorail is super close and is really easy to get to the Disney parks.

While this is listed as a 5-star hotel by Google, I personally think this is closer to a 3-star property with its outdated amenities, shoddily maintained room and sub-par services. After checking in, the gentleman at the reception asked us to wait at a corner while they get our luggage (it was sent to the hotel from another hotel we were staying the night before) and their porter will help take our luggage and show us to our room. We asked whether we could head up first as it was cold in the lobby (every time the main door opened, cold wind blew in) - we also had a long day at Disney and just wanted to head to our room to rest. Instead - not sure if it's a communication barrier - we were told to seat by the corner (where presumably it's warmer - it's not) and wait for the porter. Why can't he just pass us our key and have his colleague send up our luggage - I don't know. If you read the other reviews, I'm sure you will conclude that everyone agrees the room is spacious. On this, I agree as well. The room is definitely one of the most spacious I have stayed in during my trip in Japan. The bed is spacious too - fantastic for my family (my wife, my 4 years old, and myself). However I would still not recommend this hotel unless you really need a huge space (travellers with big family and lots of luggage). For the amount you are spending, I don't think you're getting the value of it. The services are not up to par, and the amenities need some upgrade. Personally, I would skip this hotel and head to either Hilton or Sheraton the next time I'm visiting Disney.

These rooms were huge by Japanese standards and even on the larger end compared to American hotels. By far the largest rooms I stayed in during my trip. I was impressed by the lobby and how friendly and helpful the staff was. The view from the room was perfect and the bathroom was nice. By far, the best feature of this hotel is its distance from the Disney Resort Line. They have a shuttle to and from the hotel that takes all of 2 minutes, but it seriously takes just that much time to walk from the lobby to the station and then you’re only a short ride away from both parks. If I didn’t see the shuttle on my way out, I’d just walk it. The only other way you could be in a more convenient place is to stay at a Disney hotel but that will cost you 4x the price. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a hotel in need of a makeover (Upgrades required). The place is genuinely clean to the best of their ability, but the owners need to invest and move on from the hotel they built 10+ years ago. Breakfast is pretty good. Saying this - the carpets are old, beds/pillows are worn out and curtains and the furniture is outdated. Defenitely has a old smell to the room upon entering. I would have cancelled and checked out immediately, if I had the option. The staff are not as friendly and the first response to most questions is "NO", before even understanding the question. Very different to the humble culture across the rest of Japan. We stayed here for 7 nights to and ended up going out of the hotel most days. They have a free shuttle bus to the station... and also have a paid shuttle to/from the airport - However, you have to ask for this information as it's not freely provided. Time to upgrade the hotel, or the new one getting built next door will outshine.

It was our lucky day 'cause for 10,000 yen extra we got upgraded to the suite room. OMG. It had 2 toilets, a shower stall and a separate bathtub with a showerhead. The bed was like 2 Queen sizes put together (we had a 4 and 2 year old) so it was big enough for our whole family. The toiletries were awesome as well as the view. But the best part? SPACE TO WALK AROUND. So many hotel rooms in Japan are super tiny, but this suite definitely lived up to its reputation. I hope I can stay here again! Shuttle provided to the station where you can then take the Disney train over to the parks. They also have a konbini and a gift shop. THANK YOU, Hotel Okura! I think I loved staying here more than going to DisneySea 😂

Quality venue for events and a stay. The Best Western breakfast may need more fixins for the omelette a and bigger French toast portions and sausage that is cooked on the grill, however, their Japanese dinner on the second floor was excellent and my wedding was a well orchestrated event with great staff behind the scenes.

Very nice hotel in Tokyo bay, for those visiting Disneyland. Very reasonably priced, close to everything you need. Limousine bus will take you here from Haneda airport (€1000 adult and €500 child). There are shuttle busses from hotel to Mayhama JR. Bayside station for Disneyland monorail is literally a 2 min walking distance from hotel entrance. What surprised most was the size of a standard room! Definitely not Japanese size - these are huge rooms!! You walk in a room and it has a hallway! The room has two beds, a sofa, an armchair, etc etc. The bathroom is very large, with a bath tub and a shower. Highlight - the bathtub fills up in a minute! Breakfast is €3800 adult, €1700 child. A pretty good food selection. We were given €5000 coupons at check in and used them for one morning breakfast. Negatives - very hard uncomfortable beds:(, back a bit sore. I would recommend this hotel for a trip to Disneyland!

This was a lovely hotel. Sometimes I have a problem getting ice at a hotel, but this was super easy. You just call downstairs and they deliver it super fast. The check-in was incredibly easy, and the checkout was a simple drop off of the cardboard scan keys. All the staff were kind and helpful, especially the ones who help me ship my luggage home. Overall just a great five-star experience.

For my family and myself, we love it! The room size is very good for 4 pax, with one bed each. Bathroom is very spacious. Whole unit was so clean! Staff at concierge were polite and patient too. Not too sure why there are so many negative reviews though :/

Room size is good, bed is comfortable, the most impressive part is the speed of the bathtub water filling, its really around 1 minute!

A great hotel that has aged well. Always clean, comfortable, and relatively inexpensive for being so close to Disneyland. I’ve stayed here a few times, and will do so again..

The room was wonderful, and in the bathroom, there was a lot of vanity stuff. Their skincare set was wonderful but you can't take it home :(. But if you like Japanese you should to a pharmacy with two stories they literally sell anything you would ever think of. Their food downstairs was really good. And you can also take a to bayside station if you hate walking. But it doesn't take long to walk to bayside station. Overall this was a wonderful experience and you must go to disney sea its so fun especially the ride journey to the center of the earth. Its all worth it :). Except for the skincare set in the hotel room :(.

Paid ¥50,000 for a room with the family. No room service, no bar, no place to get a single coffee before 10am. “Service suspended”. When we asked why we got the typical Japanese response of “sorry, not sorry”. Sure, it’s close to Disneyland but Maihama station offers so much more in terms of amenities and it’s just as close. Stay there instead. This place is a ripoff.

A very clean hotel with amazing staff who pay attention to details. Left a note to thank the housekeeping staff and received a warm and lovely note in return. Breakfast spread is good with amazing wafer thin crispy bacon and assortment of Japanese and intercontinental cuisine. Room is big and spacious for a superior double room. Toilet is huge with plenty of space. And the hotel is only 5 minutes away from Disneyland so there's nothing to complain.

Friendly and helpful staff throughout hotel. The layout of the corridor to the room can be a bit of a maze but is ok. There’s a convenience stall and Disney store in the property. The shuttle bus is useful and is the nearest property to Disney resort line, so can easily walk if you don’t want to wait for shuttle bus. The western room was spacious and very clean (as are all rooms we encountered so far!). Had a Japanese room for a night; it’s a quite a bit smaller I think but still comfortable for family of 4. Overall a happy stay here!
