This was such an awesome encounter and unique discovery. I'm new in town and didn't know this place. I had a long morning and looked for lunch, so suddenly i see beautiful flags and military collections on the entrance and thought hell yes that's the place for me. This is an amazing, one of a kind, huge patriotic museum-coffee shop! I sat down for lunch and it was so cool exchanging military stories with other veterans. Great times, would make this my usual place from now on. Blessings y'all ♡

No vet ever need be alone when you have so many good brothers and sisters to connect with and share all of your life's experiences. I love you all and will always be so grateful for the freedoms you've given me, my family and everyone in the great USA. You'll always be in my heart and never, ever forgotten. ♥ I thank you so much for embracing my 22 Year old Marine, Darius Anderson, who visited. He will be in mooresville visiting in June. We will see you all then. God bless! Sincerely, Paula Bessette

A great experience. I've attended several of their gatherings and meetings. It's a great experience and opportunity to re-live our American history.

Great place...a jewel on a main street that I hope stays there forever. Saturday mornings for breakfast has become a tradition for my family. Im reminded of my dad when I go there. He was a 12year Army vet. The lady who said its crowded and loud is missing the point. Its a place for community. People talking is to be expected...the music isnt for your personal entertainment...its for the vets who are playing together.

This place is absolutely amazing. I'm a 12 year Army veteran. When my with, 5 month old son and I came in we were welcomed with open arms, hugs, and handshakes. This is a family of vererans who truly understand the importance of taking care of each other. I've never felt more at home than in this wonderful establishment. If you're a veteran, you MUST visit these amazing people.

Must see military museum /coffee shop. Really quaint place with lots of military artifacts from WW1 to present. Good crowd of friendly regulars who are happy to say hi. They sell coffee, snacks, and wide selection of specific military branch ballcaps.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! It's been 20 yrs since my enlistment ended in the U.S. Navy and I've never been treated with such dignity and respect as they shown me! They welcomed me as if they've known me my whole life. Very much recommend to stop by and check it all out and get a good cup of coffee at the same time!

I ventured into Richard's Coffee Shop on Thursday (9-23-'21) and was taken back by the genuine friendly welcoming I received from everyone there. I am a USAF Vietnam Veteran and this moment in my life was just so heart warming. I had a hard time holding back the tears it was so emotional. I have to say, that VETERANS are a really great close knit band of brothers, it makes my heart ❤ feel good to be one of many, past and present. GOD BLESS each and everyone of them! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Beautiful museum with abundance of history. Great people with good food and coffee. They take donations to help the Veterans that have served our country. I love this place and hope everyone gets a chance to go at least once. Great for kids to learn and see (better than text books in school).

Food and company were great. Ima a disabled, displaced, homeless Black 60-year-old female veteran with a service dog. It felt good to belong somewhere for a minute. They treated me like I am someone and they loved my Yea(SD). The food was great too. Thank you. Thank you. 💙
