Switched to this hotel last year from another hotel in the area and it’s been a great choice. Was able to negotiate a fair corporate rate which includes a delicious made-to-order breakfast and STARBUCKS coffee, yaaaas!! The staff is so friendly and helpful and have been very professional every time our staff checks in. Staying there every four weeks, I’ve noticed a consistency in the great cleanliness of the rooms, comfort of the beds and bedding, and working order or the room appliances (tv and coffee maker). Again, facilities are clean and orderly, but the staff really makes the place. Way better than the last place we stayed at in Moorhead.

Really wanted to like this place. Pool was perfect for my kids, with shallow pool and really warm water. Staff was generally friendly was helpful with some exceptions. Problem was the building itself. Poor sound proofing. From my bed I could hear semis on the freeway, a thrumming flapping mechanical noise, the voices of people talking loudly in neighboring rooms (I don't blame them; walls should be thicker), people talking loudly in the courtyard below. The toilet, which was weaker than our toilet at home, got clogged. I asked for someone to take care of it. Left for the day. Thought they worked on it. Used it. It got worse. Asked for help again that night. Front desk said he'll be up. Never came up. Asked for help in the morning. They handed us a plunger to do it ourselves. Plunger was in a container with a gross stained lid. I took care of it but I'm getting pretty resentful. Not coming back again.

Went for an event for my work we rented out the ballroom. Great food the bathrooms are very clean and I liked that they had free products in the bathrooms for you to use like feminine products lotions body sprays etc.

Terrible breakfast service, my dad was waiting for 15 minutes for one cup of black coffee. Eventually he just gave up and we left. The rooms were ok and well kept, the pool had far too much chlorine though, don't know why the hotel is in the location it's in, it's not by any stores or anything it was surrounded by generic apartment complexes.

I was there three days, two nights, and my room was never cleaned. I had breakfast the first morning, and the person who waited on me was very rude. I needed things like butter for my toast, and I had to go get it myself. My eggs were supposed to be over easy, they were over hard. I didn't eat them.

The major disappointment is that they advertise a hot tub and the reality is they've cemented over it. If you're looking to relax in one, go elsewhere. Otherwise for a business trip this is a great location just off the interstate!

From the moment that we walked through the front entrance, we were treated like the most important customer. Dani was so impressive with her professionalism, attitude and expertise in the process. We will be back and mainly because of how well we were treated by Dani. Thank you

Can hear the interstate quite loudly i might add...needless to say neighbor's simply walking above us making sleep hard to accomplish....Starbucks instead of a continental breakfast is a expensive limited options option and sad.....would only stay here again if no other decent options are available....not a bad hotel by any means but hopefully your a heavy sleeper and like starbucks for breakfast. For me room was clean however dated and staff was great...

Overpriced!!!!! No continental breakfast for their high prices. Rooms very small. We were quoted $210 and ended up with a bill of $270. So wrong!

Me and my family stayed here for the weekend for a funeral. The lobby was so nice and clean and had complementary water with lemon and fruit and regular wate customer service was outstanding. All the workers was very friendly and nice greeting you each and every time you leave and come back in. Also, the breakfast is delicious. Very reasonable price For everything on the menu. I got the king suite it was very spacious so much space very clean and comfy. The beds feel like soft pillows .the beds was my favorite part because it was so comfortable.even if you don’t want to sleep it makes you want to and that is my review on the Courtyard by Marriott Fargo

Just sitting by the pool made my eyes burn and my grandkids complained their eyes hurt. My daughter had coughing attack due to chemical irritant–induced asthma. This was our 2nd stay within a year. The breakfast bistro is wonderful. Check-in was slow.

Tried to call and book a room for my work conference coming up and spoke to a Sherry. Sherry pick up the phone and said "Can you call back in about 10 minutes." She was in the middle of doing something and needed to finish it before she forgets. (Honest opinion, I think if you were in the middle of something, don't pick up the phone or apologize and ask to hold while you quickly finish up the task.) In the many years of customer service I've been, I just said, "okay". (Mind you, I would totally book online if I hadn't need to call and get the reference discount code to book my reservation.) Online booking is much easier and lesser of a hassle from time to time. I will update this post, after my stay. We'll see.

First time in Moorhead attending a conference for work & we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Fargo Moorhead. We were welcomed very nicely at the front desk. All the staff we encountered were very nice. Great customer service. The room was very nice & very clean. The location is in a weird spot, and the way to get to it is a bit confusing. It's definitely not an intersection we have ever encountered before (the intersection off the highway you have to take to get to the hotel). There are some restaurants and of course Starbucks near the hotel & IN the hotel. Lots of places within 20'20 minutes of the hotel. I would definitely recommend the Courtyard as a great place to stay if you are traveling to Moorhead.

Easy to access, right off of 94. Nice rooms and accommodations. Several yard games to play in the courtyard, and even offer an Xbox to play in the lobby. Lobby also has a bar and Starbucks available. A pool and kiddie pool is available as well.

This was a very nice no frills hotel. If you looking for a place to stay without a ton of extras, this is your place. The hotel was VERY clean. That says a lot as I am very picky. The staff were friendly. The tv was a bit complicated to operate. The coffee maker on my room did not work but they gave me coffee from the cafe. I would definitely stay here again.

I had the king suite and it reminded me of the 2 king room suite we have in San Francisco. Nice big living room, with a long bar. Long vanity in for the bathroom and a large room to sleep. There are 2 sleeper sofa's so this room could comfortability sleep 6. We had our banquet at the hotel and it was nice and could accommodate everyone for the work event. It was a few minutes from our conference, so it was nice not to have to drive cross town. The only reason for 4 stars is the size of the pool and no whirlpool. It was nice the had a kiddie pool, but the pool for adults was not very big, nor deep. It starts at 3 feet and ends at 5 feet. Not deep enough for most adults. They would have been better off having one big pool with the adult size deep.

Nice lobby. Fab, enormous room. Great outdoor area. Excellent desk staff. Dog friendly. This place had a locked and loaded 5-star review but then - say it ain’t so! - I found out they charge for breakfast. Marriott, that’s not how it works at Courtyard. The room cost us enough, breakfast should be free. Let me know when you fix this problem, and I’ll be happy to grant that fifth star.

Stayed at the Courtyard for a quick visit to Fargo, and I was satisfied with the stay. Check-in was an easy process, unfortunately they do not have mobile keys at this location so there isn’t much reason to Mobile Check-In if you have the Bonvoy app. The room was adequate. Nothing special. It was clean and didn’t smell bad haha. We couldn’t use our Apple TV with the TV in the room because they had some weird block on it, which was disappointing. The pool area was fine. Overall i think the hotel definitely needs some updating. It’s a bit dated. Though it runs smoothly so if you’re just looking for a place to sleep this is a good bet.

Ok we were driving through and goggled hotels. They were not the most fairly priced but had good star review. What I really want to get out to people like me that need "perks" is for $179 for 1 night there is no continental breakfast, no juice station, or grab a muffin area. What you have is a Starbucks, and while I love me some Starbucks is just adds a ton more money onto an already expensive situation. I was told that each management company gets to choose whether they do continental or a vendor. Raymond Management out of Madison, WI, hope you don't travel with family or make a ton of money. It takes 2 less people to set up a continental breakfast then the 3 people behind that Starbucks counter.

Nice and clean Hotel at side of Moorhead. Close to some good food places and pubs. For room service you have to ask. A free breakfast is not available. There is a Starbucks inhouse and you have to purchase one.

The BEST hotel experience I’ve EVER had. We travel ALOT so that’s something to be said. However, not only is the staff completely and utterly so professional that I wish we could leave tips. Idk his name but the young gentleman about 19 years old that checked us in. Handled every issue we had smoothly. Which wasn’t much. Key cards and tv not working. He switched our rooms AND discounted our rate as well as offered us breakfast. He answered every big and little question I had with no issue! This is the kind of service I wish existed everywhere. Anytime we stay within an hour of Fargo we’re coming here. The atmosphere is forever now worth the drive! Watching him on the phone with a customer who was screaming so loud I could hear him in the lobby. He honestly handled that so well. Better than ANYONE could have asked or expected him to handle It. You guys gotta treat that kid good. He will be the face of the business and very well should be. He restored my faith in the younger generation with this experience. Thank you guys a ton!

Nice hotel and staff. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable and the room seemed well cleaned. There isn't to much around it, but our stay was still nice.

It was so disappointing! This place held a special place in my heart because I worked here years ago when I was a college student and my stay today was such a disappointment to the quality this place was years ago. Cons: -No one was at the front desk. No sign or bell option. I had to call out a few times. The front desk person had a odd reason for not being at the front desk. They stated they had to feed the construction workers in the back office. It was dead quiet in the back so I'm not sure if people were actually back there especially when I'm familiar with how the back office looks from previously working here. It would've made more sense if she stated she went to the bathroom real quick. -I called the hotel prior to my arrival and asked if they had any mini sewing kits and they confirmed they had some and would put one aside for me. I asked for it upon arrival and they said they couldn't find any. It was upsetting they lied and didn't feel the need to inform me. -Struggled to sleep and was woken up in the middle of the night multiple times. Everytime the wind blew, the heat/air vent kept making a super loud sound throughout the room. Pros: Close to MSUM College

Community room is small, pool is humid, but a good time was had by all! Wading pool was not zero depth, but certainly fun with small slides for the kids. Deep pool was a good cool temperature. We didn't try the hot tub, but it looked enjoyable. Nice pool-side bathrooms, with a shower to rinse off when you are done! There was a diaper changing station in the restroom at the front of the hotel, but I could not locate one in the pool-side bathroom. It looked like it was recently remodeled.

This hotel offers clean, spacious, well-outfitted rooms. The indoor restaurant and Starbucks aren't always open, probably due to employee shortages, but otherwise the hotel is an excellent choice. The exercise room is convenient and the pool is significantly larger than many other hotel pools. In fact, it offers two pools, a large one for small kids and an even larger one for everyone else.

Breakfast was not very good, mostly because it was a bag lunch because of covid. The whole place was cold. The rooms were cold, the shower was cold, the conference rooms were freezing. Also not happy they wouldn't let us do a late check out on Sunday. This place thrives on booking rooms for hockey tournaments, who is checking in on Sunday, no one. Super lame.
