Lots of ambience and very busy for a Tuesday evening. We got asparagus soup and it was just ok; only creme and no pieces of asparagus...it's pureed. I got the house salad for $2.90 and it was ok... nothing great. Our entree was sweinee braten with knoedel and sauerkraut just ok. Although the pork was very tender and had an ok sauce. They do have sauerbraten on the menu but we're not serving it or the goulash on Tuesday. They have an extensive menu and a few dishes for vegetarian

Every year we visit family in Waffenbrunn we come here to eat. Fantastic food! The pilz was very good. Just look at the photos. Let your eyes do the judging on their menu. You will not be disappointed. Bon Appétit

One of the best Biergartens I've been to in Bavaria. Excellent beer and food accross from a beautiful park and major bike path.

Visited in September 2014 while travelling through Germany and visiting my relatives. you will find great German food here, friendly service and the BEST beer in the area! Locals come here to purchase their beer for home as well. We were there when a band was playing music for Oktoberfest so we were in for some entertainment. Very good food for a good price. Order to sevice is quick. Drinks are nice and cold. And beers from there own brewery.

It seems like a fast food, drink yourself drunk type of place. I do not recommend to go here if you want to eat nicely.

Great food!

We were in the area for a week of holiday and stone Butter Bahn Displays on our first night. We were so impressed. We ended up eating there four or five times. It was often very busy but we never had issue finding a table without a reservation. Food is excellent, one of the few places with real homemade Spätzle. Service isn't always the most "friendly" but that seems to be cultural to the area because it seems the same everywhere. They were however very quick and attentive. I would recommend anyone in the area should stop by.
