New to the area. Always see cars out front so decided to try it for lunch. Ordered a roast beef sandwich and roast beef wrap. There were literally 4 pieces of sliced roast beef on the entire sandwich. 4 pieces...on a whole 12 inch roll. Same deal with the wrap. I am completely shocked with the lack of meat on these so called sandwiches! This is unacceptable. Other than that, the roll was decent and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh.

The best service and THE BEST TUNA, hands down. Never a wait as the staff moves swiftly. Super friendly and super tuna! I just want to keep adding to this review and say over the years it’s never been a disappointment. Always worth it, super tuna is my guilty pleasure. Still THE best ever.

My first visit to Berlew's since moving from the Bronx. I had my eye on it since I first arrived and I am glad to say they did not disappoint! I got the Italian Deluxe, White Birch Beer, and they forced, FORCED me to get the homemade Bread Pudding (ok, they didn't force anything, I was overly willing). I love the old timey fridge and the super friendly people working there. The Italian Deluxe was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients, crisp lettuce and tomato. (nothing is worse than a whimpy tomato...am I right?) This place is definitely worth a visit and I am sure you will be happy with your selection as I am!

Always A pleasure ordering food from here the staff is outstanding. The food is delicious. And the bread pudding is out of this world!

Excellent hoagies which can't be gotten anywhere else. Service is awesome everyone always has a smile on their face.

Great tuna super hogies and great all hogies going thru Moosic Pa on main drag give these people a try very busy because word gets around

They need to shred the lettuce and put more mayo,oil and vinegar it wasn’t enough on my sub and they need to a different type of Turkey meat or make it thinner for my first time I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here and I won’t be back it could have been better

I grew up with Berlew's and used to stop in frequently. Their tuna hoagie and Italian hoagies are so, so good! When my family and I went back to Pennsylvania for a visit a few years ago, we stopped in and ordered both types of hoagies and my wife and son loved them. It's a great little mom and pop type store and the service was always great. The people were always friendly and accommodating as well. I'd almost give my right leg for one of their hoagies right now!

I stopped in for a hoagie and a soda. The price was good, the service was fast, and the hoagie was good. Next time I would ask for extra lettuce as there was not much on it. Overall a good experience and I will stop in the next time I am in that town.

Reasonable price. Good food. Fast service. I get the deluxe Italian.

Update: returned to berlows and got their Italian Deluxe Hoagie with a bottle of Dr Pepper. This hoagie was bigger then the previous and packed with meat, cheese, and those healthy veggies. The bun was so soft it could have been made on sight. Second time now great food and service. Definitely a big recommendation! First time here, walked in was welcomed very friendly, told them first time here and they were glad I was trying them out. I got the Italian hoagie, 12 inch comes with oregano, lettuce, tomato, cheese, meat and dressing. I added sweet peppers and dumped the dressing for mayo. This was a very delicious hoagie, the bun was really soft, I could taste the freshness of the meats and cheese, this was a good afternoon lunch. I also tried what appears to be based on the label a bottle of homemade root beer. This had a great taste also. Now if this was not homemade I apologize in advance. The hoagie itself was $6.50, everything came to $9.81. they even gave you napkins without even asking. Definitely recommend and will be back!
