No generator. I was in complete darkness from 18:00 - 20:00. Wifi signal so weak that I had to use my phone as a mobile hotspot (even while power was on). Cold water shower... faulty geiser perhaps.

The accommodation was fair and the staff on site were very helpful. However the geyser was only turned on when we arrived and as a result it took a while to get hot water

Our stay on this occasion was not a good as previous visits. Sept 2023 Our reception was efficient and friendly. Safety and securitystill top notch. The room was clean. The lack of attention to detail and maintenance is beginning to show. 1 There was very little water pressure for the shower was inadequate. The shower nozzle could not be adjusted to compensate for the low pressure. 2 The toilet seat was loose. 3 Not all the globes were working 4 My major concern is that we are required to wash the crockery and cutlery in the bathroom. There is no basin in the kitchen area. Also, nodish washing liquid or drying towels are provided. It makes me wonder how hygenic the kitchen utensils are. We want to continue using the Gaggle Inn. These issues should be easy to correct. Previous visit. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well appointed. The Inn is well situated a few kilometres from the N1. I will stay there again when in Kroonstad. Stayed there 4 weeks ago. Maintenance is beginning to slip.

The Rude owner of the Lodge said to me that "The Police will find my dumped body with lots of bullet holes" just because we drove over the lawn reason being the space limitations. We asked one of the workers and the response was it's okay to do so. I don't recommend the space especially travelers 🚮 Thanks to Jackie , she was very helpful

Stayed at the lodge for 1 night on our way to the Kruger national park. The booking process was simple and responses quick. What makes this venue good is that it's very close to the N1 highway so easy access when leaving. You can't hear the cars on the highway though. It's about 1.5km from a small shopping centre and filling station. There are a few take away places and ATM s . The room has all the basic self catering facilities and has Aircon and a fan . There is also a little patio and braai. Access is controlled by remote control gate. There is a pool on the premises and some farm animals around. An ideal overnight location

Wedding prep visit for 18 Dec. First time there. Place looks very well maintained gardens and clean. Some birdlife around - I saw chickens and geese (I suspect that's where the 'gaggle' comes from). Also saw two rabbits. Lovely chapel, wedding venue (about 100 people) with a kitchen and lovely outside area. No smoking indoors or anywhere under cover. Looks great for conferences as well and one of the rooms I saw was set up for around 24-30 people. Paved roads, driveways and paths inside the venue, but a not so nice dirt road from the main road - about 200m. After some rain, it is quite worn. It would become a muddy mess if wet. Accommodation available as well atvery reasonable rates.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always prepared to help with the smallest matters. Clean and of very good quality chalets. Will surely go there again.

Friendly welcome and hearty hone cooked meal after a whole day of travelling! Listening to lions roaring in the distance was an added treat

Good place to stay.Shower heads need to be replaced or repaired.Seems to be blocked.Lots of flowers and trees and spacious rooms.

Stayed for three nights, very helpfull and friendly staff. Rooms were neat and clean. Will definitely stay here again.

This is the the worst every place, You book accommodation in advance then just to find out there is no available accommodation after you received a confirmation email where it state that your booking is approved a week before i must book in what must we do now i will let everybody and social media know about the bad service This is unacceptable how can this be done with no effort to even try to assist

Not only did the lodge accommodate us with a late booking during a busy weekend (Nampo and school rugby) but also supplied an extra single bed to the unit for my son. The chalet is clean and fitted with all necessities.Paved roads over all in the lodge between chalets. I need to mention the great smell of the linen... bath sheets and bedding. Will return!

Just visited as a "day guest".. For the wedding celebration.. Neatly kept and a very private place

Very nicely situated from the N1 Highway if traveling between Cape Town & Johannesburg

We was there for a business trip. According to our voucher Gaggle In was supposed to give breakfast, lunchbox and dinner. But unfortunately the food was SO not up to standard. The area was ok. The wifi was also slow and unstable.
