Please do not go to this place. We had a horrible experience. There is no electricity. The room was part of a hall. We asked if we could cancel and the manager said its find only to find that we cant get all our money back. We never even stayed the night there. Pack packed out and then packed our stuff back in the car. Imagine that. They will never ever see us again.

Wonderful Place especially for kids and fishing.

We booked at the caravan site along the river, staff friendly and while you can't blame the lodge for nature it should mention that this resort is a working farm, also huge cattle farm across the river. Huge amount of flies also the small black biting fly. For someone that has a allergy to there bite, it equates to a very unpleasant weekend. Also with it being a farm there is an unpleasant smell. My question is as a resort should there not at least be some sort of pest control especially for the black flies. The bathrooms are not usable at night due to the swarms of insects, no warnings on door asking campers to close door and switch off lights. I would not recommend this resort, ablutions below average and not value for money spent.

Nice budget accomodation, neat and clean with friendly managment. Good fishing spots as well. Could really do with aircon/heater though - I've never been so cold in all my life indoors!

Tranquility, piece full. There is a chapel and plenty of green grass at the wedding venue with nice views. Slide into the swimming pool, mini gholf and fufi slide and a confenience store on the property. Ample tent and caravan stands if you want to bring your own, but there are also a few sharlet /concrete houses and wooden cabanas or Allready setup tent that you can sleep in. I believe it is completely self catering so you have to bring your food even if you stay in the houses. The house we stayed in C7 had 2 spacious rooms one with a double bed and 3x single beds and the other room a double bed and a 3/4 bed in. TV with a comfortable lounge set, a inside kitchen table, as well as table outside on the stoep where the braai is. 4 plate gas stove, microwave, fridge. Shower and bath in the spacious bathroom. Definitely a place to visit to come and unwind... If you are into fishing you can bring your tackle as it is next to the vaal river

Limerick lodge is a nice place to have a get away with friends and/or family, staff is friendly and have good activities, just be sure to check everything in your room when you arrive and before you leave as they do not hesitate to keep your deposit or part of it even when something was not taken or broken by your group. Otherwise very nice place.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at this place. The house and furniture is old fashioned but because they are renovating slowly after taking over. There are built in cupboards and plenty of space and so comfortable. The place is so lovely and I cannot wait to go back. Super for children with lots to do and such friendly owners

After 3 days and a few hiccups regarding a missing water tap at our camp stand and multiple times reporting the problem, the resort finally replaced the missing tap. Thank you, Limerick team. My 3 star rating is due to the fact that we had to ask, 3 days in a row for the problem to be resolved. Other than the problem listed above the resort has awesome and clean facilities with lots of activities for all ages and the biggest attraction being the pool and water slide.

Nice quit get away. Very neat and clean but needs some maintenance. There is no full dstv, only the soccer related package.

Beautiful place next to the river.

Where do I start? Had a wedding there, toilets didn't flush, bar was unmanned when the reception started, had to go and look for someone to serve us. Accommodation was horrible. Makeshift lock on the door and oven! The shower was so dirty! Dirt road to the unit was so bad! Really wish I never have to go there again!

Great wedding venue, clean and tidy accommodation. A great getaway for a weekend with family and friends.
