Dosa starts here from around 110₹ and its totally worth the money. Its famous for its dosa and its really worth trying and justifies its price as its size is huge. I have tasted few different dosa and found that only masala dosa is good and other dosa's are only to increase menu items. But you guys can try others as well. Bought coffee as well here but neither taste nor its presentation was good. Just average taste and served in normal cups.

Its walkable from Gwalior railway station. Ambience is average, but food are delicious. They serve veg & non veg both breakfast & lunch, dinner menu. They have table seating arrangement in ground floor as well first floor. Staff has dress code. They were quick in service. Prices are higher compare to other restaurants. They also have boarding & lodging facility. They have toilet facility. You can pay by Cash/UPI transfer. We had :- Masala Dosa Paneer Dosa Chicken fried rice All food were delicious.

Ahhhh good taste. You can feel/taste Kerala in Gwalior inside Indian Coffee House. Good restaurant, neat and clean. Situated in a prompt place. Near to railway stations 🚉, opposite to Army camp. Taste is good as always. Staffs are also Good.

Very close to railway station. Food is tasted good. We were in Gwalior for 3 days and we visited almost 5 times here the food didn't affect our stomach. I always like to take dosa, poori, idly sambar and paneer gravy, fruit custard and coffee is their specialty.

I must say u miss South Indian food then this is best for you. Being a North Indian I love their paneer dosa. Great place. You may face difficulty in getting sheet on Saturday or Sunday as it's a bit rush there on weekends but food is worth waiting

You get the best dosa and and other savouries dishes here in Indian Cafe house located just besides Gwalior station, this restaurant is also known for their N.veg dishes like Chicken Biriyani and Mutton Rogan gosh which is served upstairs in a seperate N.veg section restaurant.

Unfortunately, the only one in Gwalior and doesn't have any other branches. By far the only place that serves the best South Indian cuisine and the main specialities are Idlis, Vadas and it's signature masala Dosas maintaining the same taste from decades.

The Indian Coffee House is an iconic and historic chain of coffee houses that has been serving patrons in India for several decades. With its roots dating back to the mid-20th century, these coffee houses are not just about the beverages; they hold a special place in the hearts of those who appreciate the blend of tradition, culture, and caffeine. The ambiance at the Indian Coffee House is unique. The decor typically reflects a retro charm, with simple wooden furniture and ceiling fans, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone days. It's a place where you can experience a bit of nostalgia while sipping on your coffee. Speaking of coffee, the Indian Coffee House is renowned for its filter coffee. The rich and aromatic brew is a highlight for many visitors. Additionally, they offer a variety of other beverages, including tea, cold coffee, and shakes, providing options for all tastes. One of the distinctive aspects of the Indian Coffee House is its menu. Alongside coffee and tea, you can enjoy a range of snacks and meals, including dosas, omelets, and a variety of South Indian and North Indian dishes. The food is generally tasty, and the prices are quite reasonable, making it a popular spot for both students and families. The service is often friendly and prompt, although it can vary from one outlet to another. The staff, who have been part of the Indian Coffee House tradition for years, often add to the charm of the place with their experience and anecdotes. In conclusion, the Indian Coffee House is not just a coffee shop; it's a cultural and historical institution. It provides a unique blend of nostalgia, good coffee, and affordable food, making it a favorite among people of all ages. While the decor and service may vary from outlet to outlet, the overall experience is a delightful journey into the past, where you can relish the present.

I completed my graduation in South India and I always craves for southern food, Indian Coffee House always helps me in erasing my South India food craving. The restaurant is very simple. The loving factors are the pricing and service. North Indian food is ok. The dosa, idli, vada are really good and worth trying. overall pricing, service, the staff is really good.

It has been 3rd visit of mine in last 4years. I have no comments on food because just took bit of dish I ordered, but yes services are getting wrost day by day... Oftens but today ordered mushroom masala and butter roti which took 30min to serve and than asked 3 waiters to change "butter which served with roti" (Plate itself was eating butter too) .. And when I asked for bill it was served in 2 minutes.. What n speed to ask you eat n out

Tasty food but I'll only suggest for south indian

  • 5/5 Anoop A. 2 years ago on Google
I won't say one of the best, IT IS THE BEST restaurant in the city to have South Indian including non veg. The cooperative society maintains its standards across all its eateries. Do try dosa with chicken masala combination, which many people might have never tried.

  • 5/5 Pranjal J. 2 years ago on Google
Best veg cutlet you'll ever find anywhere. They serve a range of cuisine from South Indian to Punjabi and from Hyderabadi Biriyani to English breakfast. Everything we tried was as perfect as always. I had my doubts about Chola Bhatura but surprisingly, it was a very fulfilling experience. We combined bread butter with Veg Cutlet and it turned out to be a pleasing combo. Filter coffee was good and Dosa was up to the expectation. Idli however, was better than what we thought. P. S. - if you are willing to try veg cutlets, I suggest you try the ICH at the railway station. They have the best chefs.

Very good place for authentic South Indian dishes. Great taste. Reasonable pricing. Typical coastal South Indian restaurant kind of interiors, ambience, service, discipline and hygiene.

Food seems fresh, has a reputation of old suave restaurant, extremely affordable. But if you are looking for a beautiful sight or interior, it gives no such pleasure. Caterers and waiters are like those of horror movies. Weird, out-of-place, silent and a little rude. They accept UPI payments, card and cash.

  • 3/5 Ajay 1 year ago on Google
Having stayed in south India for many years, I could make out the authentic taste of south indian cuisines. Keeping this in mind I visited ICH and I was disappointed. The taste was no where to be matched with what we get in south India. Overall its a decent place. You would have to wait for a table during peak timings.

Unlike a typical dosa, which is crisp and crepe-like, uttapam is thicker, with toppings. The name is derived from the Tamil words Appam filled with healthy veggies! In Indian Coffee House Gwalior it's really tasty 😋and yummy yummy

It is famous for south indian food their dosa's are very famous they have variety of dosa's available which are delicious. You can also get other cuisines too. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The service can be a bit of problem during rush hour.

  • 3/5 Vivek K. 1 year ago on Google
Prime location, just outside the railway station, ambience is good, parking not available. Service is good, but good taste is below average. Although filter coffee is good, still this place is not as good as compared to other Indian Coffee House. Considering the location near the railway station, this place is good, otherwise not good.

  • 4/5 HEM S. 3 years ago on Google
Very simple seating. Normal good food. Some dishes were not up to the mark and didn't justify their price. Mostly known for their South Indian dishes. If you ever traveled in a train to southern indian, just imagine getting all those types of pantry car food. As Anthony Bourdain said(paraphrasing), food should just simply be.

  • 4/5 nk j. 3 years ago on Google

For a long time, i happened a big fan of ICH. Now, only good thing is waiters in uniform. Service is getting worse, even south Indian dishes sucks. Eating bowls are so small you can't eat in them. Reorder is almost impossible. Dear ICH, please understand that footfall you are getting is due to location and previous fame. Your food, service and dosa platter with coconut chutney sucks.
