Good for a spontaneous hike. The view from the top is incredible.

A good place for a hike which is closer to colombo.. U can go from ur vehicle upto house there.. Road is very very steap though.. From there onwards its a 1.30hr climb to the summit.. Definitely take some WATER with you, otherwise you will dehydrate with the heat.. Climbing the rock is not that difficult, but its bit steap and beware on a rainy day!! All in all the view is beautiful when u get to the top.

Beautiful place and best place for hiking experience.This is one of my favorites. Much like a lot of the at in yakahatuwa rock, it's a standard hike through the forest with a nice payoff at the end.Start your climb early before the day heats up. you can find some safety and beautiful bathing place at the start.remember to take some water bottles and food items.

We can go half of mountain on your vehicles and other half you need to go mountain trail.. this place is beutifull place. You can see colombo , Avissawella , Sripadaya in clear sky on the top of mountain 😍

One of the best hikes that a person in Colombo district can go on with a minimum budget. Must meet Preme uncle (last house), and do not forget to bring them something cuz the living facilities for them are not that ideal. Overall great views , Less than 1 hour hike. Enjoy
