Food was nice and view is great. However staff can be very hit and miss we had two servers one was friendly while other took plate from child while he was still holding food in his hand

This cute little grotto up above Caslano has a wonderful terrace and view down onto Lake Lugano. The food was excellent and even imaginative, the service very attentive.

Had lunch on a glorious day. Quiet when I visited, but the service was spot on. Friendly, attentive, but the waiter held back until needed. A simple mixed salad, risotto and beer for me. But tastefully done… 😎

Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, fantastic view....and of course the food. The food was delicious served by the most polite waiter that you can imagine. I never write this long review but this restaurant deserves it. If you are nearby.....or not, just visit this place and thank me later.

This Grotto provide a fantastic view over lake and mountains. The service is very welcoming and the meals outstanding for a grotto. The chef prepares the food with passion and great sense for flavors. We had a fried eggs with green peas sauce, handmade ravioli with braised beef stuffing, risotto with leek and smoked salmon and braised beef with Polenta. The wine list made me regretting driving a car.

Amazing food and service. I highly recommended it to locals and tourists. Plus the view is very nice.
