Maira from the leasing office at first seemed nice, but she’s very pushy and rude. I get if you’re busy and doing a lot, but her customer service needs work. When I told her she didn’t call me for follow up for a week and I wanted to remove my application. She stated that she did call and that I was in the wrong. Why be so argumentative? I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here even if it’s your last option. If they treat potential tenants that way imagine how they treat current tenants.

Absolutely the worst and most outdated apartment complex in Moreno Valley. Overran with a roach problem they can never get rid of. The most unprofessional ghetto property manager to date who is filled with a million excuses and hides from her responsibilities. It's very dangerous here. Criminals get priority over good renters. They would rather keep problem tenants and lose good non issue causing tenants here. You can tell the manager writes fake good reviews about herself. Very fake it's laughable. Why pay so much for an outdated 1971 apt with roaches? Way better places in the area that have central air conditioning and are safe and family friendly with good normal property managers

I’m posting again under another account I am a tenant here and on this night I’m very furious. I get off work at 3 am and if someone is in my parking spot I was told I would have to park on the street. It’s happened twice and tonight makes 3 times that someone is in my parking spot. I was told by Maira Rios the leasing consultant there is nothing she nor I can do at these hours. So I’m telling Heacock park Apartments that this is frustrating that I pay rent here and have to park outside and of the compound. Is it fair that I don’t work during business hours? I have no recourse when I run into these issues during these times. If I’m paying rent I should be able to park in my assigned spot. I signed a lease agreement stating this fact. Please don’t tell me to go to the office so we can discuss my issues. Heacock park needs a action plan for people who are parking where ever they want and if you must please remind your tenants to tell their visitors what the rules are. I am so done with this place. I’m very frustrated right now.

Do not live here I moved in to these apartments for the price since at the time it was relatively cheap but every year when it comes time to renew my lease they raise the price with no real reason. I'd be glad to pay more if these apartments were even slightly livable but they are not. First off the jacuzzi has never been warm or lukewarm in the 3 years I've lived here. Second the apartments have termite an other grotesque insects an as hard as I might with bleaching an cleaning they still come back after some time. Also there is constant leaking when it rains an unpleasant stains in my carpet an ceiling that will most likely come out of my deposit. An all these things are only temporarily fixed. The upkeeping in these apartments is horrible an the management is only kind to an extent of accepting pay but once you are seen without a check they turn rude an dismiss any request until you nag them into submission. An I am sure my neighbors have had similar problems since the walls are paper thin. As of lately I have seen two families move out an two more move in I do hope they don't expect much because these apartments are not somewhere to live for a long period of time anymore. I would have given these apartments no stars if it was possible but at the very least the one pro in it all is that the neighbors are good people an I've never felt unsafe.

I used to love it here with heacock Apartment. I started having second thoughts about this Apartment since another management took over the property the house rent has been increasing every year. At least, if they want to increase rent it shouldn't affect their old tenant but the new ones. Honestly, this is not good at all! I must say am not happy with the situation on ground. This needs to be addressed. Thanks.

Horrible maintenance and up keep! The washers in both wash rooms never work!!!! They SUPPOSEDLY remolded but I guess they kept all the bad washers still so really what was the point?! I waste a lot of money and soap here!!!! The bathtub was redone recently and still started peeling next day! If you like LUXURY APTS then these definitely are NOT IT! DONT MOVE HERE!!! TRUST ME SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

This place was great when I moved in. The rent for a one bedroom went from $1042 with all utilities included except electricity. But now it will be $1210 without utilities. It just isn't worth the price anymore when the place right next door charges about $20 less and they have balconies/patios. But it is a good place it's clean I've never seen a roach anywhere in my apartment or outside.

My experience so far I would say is neutral at the moment. When I first moved in on the month of August the parts of the floor had to be redone and every so often I find bugs in my apartment from time to time but I’ve learned to call and have them spray and I have had to take drastic measures myself to keep the bugs out. Also my parking spot on the night of October 4th going into the morning of the 5th was occupied by the car you see in this review. We have a policy here for assigned parking and being I get off work early morning I had no recourse to get my parking spot during this time. I had to park halfway down the block which aggravated me because the last thing I want to do is look for a parking spot at 2 am in the morning. Heacock Park let’s get it together please. Well here we are again another car in my spot. Someone please remedy this situation. Please and thank you. This car actually has a Heacock Park sticker on it. They should know better or have their own parking spot.

Hello everyone, just wanted to share a bit about Heacock Park Apartments. I’ve been living here for about 5 years now and I have to say I’m happy with my neighbors and with my landlord she is so kind and understanding the maintenance guy Miguel is always on time fixing what needs to be fixed and makes in effort to get the job done the best he can. Although the rent is high it’s because our economy is bad, but they are one of the lowest apartments in Moreno Valley to rent from. Well that’s all I have to share for now, ooh one more thing to anyone moving in always take advantage on the carpet cleaning (if you have carpet) every year and the pest control every Monday the pest control man comes it goes a long way if you keep up with it :). My apartment was burglarized and the management office could care less. They did not cooperate with Moreno Valley Police Department even though they had video of the guy walking out of my apartment with my TV and computer.

I like living here and it is very quiet. I love the fact that the school is near by. Maintenance is always on top of their work. In all the years that I have lived here I haven't had any roaches. For the people that are saying they have roaches and they claim that they are "clean"...that's a damn lie. You have roaches because you're filthy. They have free pest control fumigation here which I always use because if I see one tiny roach outside my apartment trust me I am on their list to be fumigated. It kind of sucks because you have to take out everything from inside the cabinets (Maybe that is why people don't go on the list...they are lazy) but honestly it works. One thing I do not like about these apartment is that there is very little parking and the parking spaces are too narrow. Other than that this place is a good place to live at.

It seems like everyone seems to break the rules when management is out of office. Rent keeps going up so now it is to the point where we are forced to move out. The apartments are also infested with bugs. It’s really horrible. I get crickets and roaches coming in my apartment every night. And my apartment is spotless. Other than that, maintenance is always responsive.

Im a resident and have been for two years. We love it here the improvements are amazing the pool is finally sparking clean the gym is brand new smells so luxurious in there. I love that these apartments are family friendly and the management has been superior. I have never had a problem and I appreciate the fast respond from management the few times I’ve had an emergency. When I had a plumbing issue, Maira the front manager, was able to get the handy man in my apartment within 45 minutes. My family and I love the location next to schools and groceries stores.

I’ve been staying at Heacock Park for 8 1/2 years. I love it here. It’s a small apartment, but I feel safe everybody look out for each other. The manager Maria is amazing she go above and beyond for us…☺️

I've been here 5yrs now Wish they would build more guest parking at least. Wish they didn't cut trees down from our point of view there nothing but weeds no green grass just dirt now where is the guy that cuts the weeds.

After switching to the new management this place has been horrible. It’s now called Sunnymead Apartments, and i highly recommend renting anywhere else. Forget about asking the manager questions, all kinds of things are changing since we’ve moved in due to the change in owners and she hates being questioned about it. Want to have visitors? Too bad theres absolutely no parking for them to use, theres barely parking for you to use. And if you do park on the property, expect your car to be towed. There used to be 10 parking spaces for visitors, now they need 5 of them reserved for “meetings” that supposedly happen 3 times a week and their “team” to use since theres never any parking, which is literally the issue for all of us, but forget about the residents that LIVE here and pay rent. Their marketing team and management are more important. (This info came straight from Michelle, the manager.) So expect to be towed, even out of the spots you PAY $75-$150 for, if you dont follow every single rule. You also cant allow your visitors to park in the spots, that again, YOU PAY FOR. They also don't pay the bills you pay them for, you have to pay the office directly for trash, water and gas. Our dumpsters haven't been emptied in over a month, the trash is piled so high, all over the ground, its a mess and pretty disgusting, so much for the pest control we have to pay monthly for, kind of pointless when theres constant trash piled up. If water is being turned off for maintenance, you don't get notified, they just do it and hope your not showering or using the water i guess. So hopefully you don't have soap in your hair, when they randomly do something. Its also in your rent to have to pay for pest control but the bugs are SO bad, and they wont come spray inside for you. I deep clean my house daily, bleach, mop, scrub, trash out every night, i make sure our apartment is prestine, but we still have bugs all over every day. Obviously were in apartments and its expected to have SOME bugs, but it would be helpful if the managers were trying to help keep it under more control. Ive spent well over $100 on bug spray, traps, etc.. to try to help the situation, but it doesnt help, since the managers dont try to help or do anything about it. They also lied and said they would have the exterminator come in, and then didnt tell them. The list could go on and on, but pay the extra $200 in rent if you can and go to the apartments beside this building. Or anywhere else. Ill admit the rent price here is the lowest ive found, but after adding all the bills and charges they charge we still end up spending close to $2,000/month.

I enjoy living at Ardella on Heacock. It’s quiet and very clean with a housekeeper on-site everyday. The staff are friendly and Maira from the leasing office is very helpful, she also addresses any issues quickly, and is easy to talk to. Overall, I love my stay here!
