Delicious food and personable service made it a wonderful experience! The pulled pork pops with hidden flavor from the collard greens and perfect amount of spices. The burgers are amazing and you will be surprised how mouth watering a burger can be! Where have you been all my life? The Dom is a work of art. The word is out on how fantastic this hidden place with scrumptious food is so be sure to make reservations.

The food was decent. It's basically a fancy French fry menu with sauce thrown on it that is just from a store shelf. The short rib poutine fries were good, but missing the main poutine staple, cheese curds. The cola tasted like actual wood shavings, and we couldn't drink it. The burger would have been great but was laid in a bed of bordelaise sauce that made the bun very soggy. This was a rather far trip for us, and I don't think it was worth it to return.

Dropped in traveling through the area. Excellent food! Fresh. Excellent flavours. Lots of unique menu items. We had the tempeh sloppy joe, drumsticks, and braided short rib poutine. The kitchen is open and you can see them making the food. It was very clean. Staff were attentive. The food came out quick even though it was packed with many takeout orders on the go. There is a nice big patio out back.

Stopped in for the seafood takeover and dear lord did they deliver, had the fish sammmie and split oysters and cod cakes with some friends everything was exceptional. Service exceptional as always.

This place is out of this world. Their house made bologna makes that bologna with a first and last name look like war rations. Their house made corned beef is my entire world. Plain orange juice is too lowly for their mimosas... theirs are made with posh Cara Cara orange juice instead. I waved it off for months because I wasn't in the mood for sandwiches and burgers. Do not make the same mistake I did!!! This is no regular café or burger joint!! And DO NOT miss their amazing Sunday brunch!!

Wife and I made a pitstop while traveling to Pittsburgh for a concert and came across this hidden treasure. The food was amazing and so was the service. Wife and I tried both the Lobster Dog and Street Fighter and it was phenomenal. This is a must stop for anyone in the Morgantown area who is looking for something unique and delicious. Wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the US, South America, Europe and the carribeans and we know good food when it's in front of us. It wouldn't surprise me to see Guy Fieri's face show up there and put this place on the map as they are in a league of their own.

I had heard lots of people say how good Von Blaze was and they sure weren't wrong. My wife and I got to go today and everything was so good. It was a packed house and we were able to get seats at the bar. I think it might have been the best seat in the house as we got to see everything coming out of the kitchen. I have to admit everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing and I got some ideas for what to order next time. A word of caution to folks the portions for the fries are huge so make sure you're hungry. My wife and I got a side of fries each for our sandwiches and they came out on big plates. We could have easily split one of the sides. There are also larger fry platters that come out on metal trays. For 2 people that tray would be a meal. If you have 3 or 4 people you can split a large fry order. As for the food it was great. As an appetizer we got the buffalo drummies and they were amazing. The buffalo sauce was tasty but not overly hot. The leftover sauce was great for dipping fries into. I got the special which was a chicken apple and bacon vinaigrette sandwich. The chicken on that sandwich was huge and the breading had great flavor. This was a delicious sandwich and I cannot wait to see the specials on our next visit. This was a great lunch experience. It was a packed house but why kept clearing tables really quickly so there were no seating issues. I look forward to my next visit as Von Blaze might be my favorite place to eat in downtown Morgantown.

Great food! Best French onion soup I've ever had. Highly recommend.

My second visit to Von Blaze and I was somewhat disappointed in the overall experience. The dinner service is clearly understaffed - we were not greeted nor acknowledged for a few minutes even though we had reservations. After being seated, getting attention was a bit of a struggle. Though she spread too thin, our server was enthusiastic and funny. The food was also disappointing. The braised beef was under seasoned and quite bland. The beer cheese extremely bitter. Loaded fries were under loaded. Chicken schnitzel was the highlight dish and cooked well, though a bit greasy. Overall I unfortunately did not leave very satisfied. Hoping that they are able to hire additional help.

Phenomenal Brunch! I was amazed to see house made bologna in a sandwich on the brunch menu and had to try it. Frankly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. If I drive through the area again I'll be stopping by because the food was exceptional.

Creative menu and a standout in Morgantown. Variety of flavors to choose from and it all tastes good! I'd recommend the kimchi dummies and neat fries 🍟. Can't go wrong!

Von Blaze is a must-try restaurant in Morgantown. Great vibe, excellent drinks and beer selections. I highly recommend The Dom fried chicken sandwich on the dinner menu. But the Sunday brunch menu is just beyond awesome. The fresh juice mimosas are delicious. The shrimp and grits are the best I have ever tried. And get a side of the soft scrambled cream cheese eggs! The only downside is that they are closed Monday and Tuesday because that means I can’t eat here every day.
