Pleasantly surprised to find free admission. There was a lot to read and learn. Only wished there was a chronological pattern or flow.

Free museum, open on Sunday, and it was a cute little experience and I would go again

What a hidden gem! Compact space with well organized displays. I anticipated coal to play a large part of West Virginia history. However, there was so much more. The curator was friendly and so helpful. Don't miss!

Nice little museum. Great collections of local history. Enjoyed learning more about Zackquill Morgan, flat boats, industry, river routes, rye whiskey, printing presses, veterans, and more. Short walk over to the Old Stone House and a lunch stop at Black Bear.

A lovely place to spend an hour or so learning about the local community. Stroller friendly. The volunteer docents were helpful with additional historic tips.

Our little social group visited the Museum in May. The curator was quite knowledgeable and very interesting as well. She gave us plenty of time to view each exhibit as well as short stories on individuals. I’m taking my hubby and Arizona cousin to visit Wednesday as we are of the Morgan clan.

Fun little museum with some great exhibits. Great place to spend an hour or two.

This place is out standing with the very fin e art's and very good customer service 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and the lobby manager Mr Daniel gibbons is very knowledgeable and very helpful and good to the customers I hope they open up soon 🔜

Good stop for history buffs. Parking is weird and the place doesn’t look inviting from the outside. But it is worth a 20 minute stop.

I visited here the other day and I was surprised to find that It's free. The lady at the front desk who's extremely helpful and helping me find genealogical records (They weren't in that particular location). I also discovered that the man who founded Morgantown, colonel Morgan, has no exact picture of him and likewise there are three different ways to depict him in the museum.

We happened apon this little museum while searching for things related to Don Knotts. The lady working the desk was very gracious and let us in to see the exhibit 10 minutes before closing!

Great little museum about the history of Morgantown WV. Donations accepted. Staff very lively and fun to speak to. It's small so you can actually see n read everything in less than two hours. Very interesting history before and during the creation of this college town.
