👍👍 Super nice cafe in downtown kyoto! I love the vegan and gluten free options, and all the drinks are lovely as well. I usually have a soy latte and the chlorella muffin when I go in the afternoon, but I think it would be nice for breakfast too. I really recommend this place if you are in the area! People often mention bowl, cafe, coffee, owner, vegan, Kyoto, acai, lovely, fruit, great,

I was craving an Açai bowl and saw this place nearby so I thought I’d try it. For the price, I would expect fresh fruit. However it was frozen. There is so much fresh fruit available in the area so I’m not sure why they choose frozen fruit instead. This was quite disappointing. Also, there wasn’t enough granola. Overall, the Açai bowl was average. However, the blueberry muffin was delicious! Fresh, soft and moist. Definitely homemade. The shopkeeper was very nice and the service was great. Please note they only accept cash payments.

You can’t call this a restaurant to be honest, she just throws everything in the microwave and uses powder coffee. It was even more expensive then most restaurants in the area 😭. The yoghurt bowl was heated up freezer fruit and then threw some yoghurt on top. So it get super watery because of the microwave fruit, taste was honestly so disgusting

The woman who runs the cafe was so lovely and had a simple, quaint food selection. Everything my father and I ate was delicious! Recommended some other friends to visit as well. Would recommend ^w^

My wife and I came here to have a tasty, healthy breakfast and we got exactly that! The ochazuke oatmeal was amazing and the coffee was great! Very relaxed and chill vibes.

Amazing food at this little cafe. Lovely owner who works really hard for the customers. Food will take a while so maybe skip if you're short on time, but if you've got time it's definitely a place to go.

During our stay in Kyoto my husband and I started out each morning with iced green tea and egg sandwich’s at this cafe. Not only was the food and drink wonderful, but so was the lovely owner. Her kindness made our mornings special! Highly recommend!

We came in super hungry and sadly left the same way :/ for myself I ordered latte coffee and large granola. The milk in the coffee got curdled and was small with a lot of ice. Granola was small as well with juice in the yogurt. Taste was ok but portion extremely small. For large granola, acai bowl and coffee we payed 3150 which is extremely overpriced. We always support vegan places but this one was very disappointing :(

Very cute&tiny cafe with a super sweet and kind owner. The acai bowl is nice, but the fruits are frozen so for this price it’s a little expensive..

I came here specifically for the acai bowl (10/10. So grateful it's available all day) - and stayed for some organic hummus and bread and a lovely view of the river. Lots of wonderful vegan options. The kind and welcoming owner speaks great English and everything about my visit was great - though be aware it's cash only!

I’m not sure what it was.. I mean, lady is sweet and place designed nicely but food was extremely overpriced for a portion you get and tasted just extra mediocre. For 3200 we payed for it I’d prefer to make an overnight oat with berries and buy real coffee somewhere else.

I'm sorry to say this but, the food was mediocre at best and we paid A LOT for what we got. The orange juice was warm. The service was quite slow too.

I came here for the acai bowl after a hot day of biking and it was sooo PERFECT. The owner is amazing and we had a lovely conversation while I ate talking about her life and mine and travel and all the things!!! She also gave me some great recs of fun things to do - felt like met a long lost friend. I so enjoyed the atmosphere it was cool & inviting, and it was refreshing to find a healthy tasty spot in Kyoto!!

The food is really good and it has good vegan options. The vegan muffins are super moist and tasty. It’s a bit on the expensive side though.

Cute place. Good strong coffee and refreshing acai bowl. I also had the chlorella muffin - I had to look that up! It was yummy with raisins. It's a small place, so limited seating inside and a couple small tables outside.

Kinda overpriced, the doors were fully open in November making the room very chilly in the morning. I got an acai bowl with still half frozen fruit, would rather go somewhere else..

Small but cozy local cafe/ bar. The owner used to live in Hawaii and interested in healthy lifestyle, so the place has relaxed atmosphere, and has organic drinks and beverage.

Cute and friendly neighborhood cafe with a few gluten free snacks. Great for a quick muffin or chocolate cake. Didn't try the drinks, but they have soy milk drinks and kombucha. Owner speaks English!

This cafe was one of my daily stops while I was visiting Kyoto. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. Luckily, she speaks English and was able to help a tourist like myself. The food and drinks were prepared perfectly and was always a brightening part of my day. I even got a psychic reading done in the shop for fun. Before I left Kyoto I was able to get a haircut and a massage on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the same building. I will definitely visit again when I return to Kyoto.

This was a calm and lovely place to discover. The friendly woman who owns it makes delicious organic treats. I'm sure she would be happy for customers to bring their own mugs for to-go items to help the environment!

👍👍 I recently visited the food hall located in the basement of Daimaru Kyoto and was blown away by the amazing selection of Japanese food available. Not only was the food delicious, but the prices were very reasonable as well, making it an excellent option for those who want to experience good Japanese...

👍👍 I went there for the children section and it was very nice. They have a good soft playground for babies/toddlers and my son had a nice time there. In the parents room you can give food, clean and take care of your child, but also weith and measure him. This so convenient.
