This is probably one of the best shrines to visit in the Kashiwa area. Based on the shrine itself and surrounding areas such as the Japanese garden , park and windmill. The shrine has a beautiful entrance with beautiful carvings, and image. If you love Japanese shrines! And i have been to many! The front and approach is unforgettable! So beautiful with the Japanese black pine over head. The shrine has a variety of structures- pagodas. The shrine (ema) blocks have some connection to snakes and Dragons. Theres toilets, small shop, restaurant. Car park access is also great. After checking the website regarding the history! It’s definitely one of the oldest i have visited. Theres access from Kashiwa station- bus.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful place. This mountain, which is known as "Fuse Benten-sama," is called Koryuzan Fuse Benten Tokaiji Temple, and was opened in the 2nd year of Daido (807 AD) with the statue of Benji Ten, which is said to be the work of Kobo Daishi Kukai, as the principal image (hibutsu). It is a prayer temple. In 2006, the main hall, tower gate, and bell tower were designated as Chiba Prefecture Important Cultural Properties.

Nice temple far away from the city. Lovely Sakura trees in Spring! There's a tomato farm shop nearby selling cheap vegetables too.

It is a beautiful old temple. The area around it and the road leading up to it have some old history. There are many beautiful trees.

Historic Buddhist Temple. Beautiful surrounding. We had kulfi 😂 at the end of Temple edge. Nice view from there. In the year 807, Emperor Saga requested Kūkai to found this temple.

(Translated by Google) 2022.04.25 This is my first visit. It seems to be one of the three major Benten temples in the Kanto region (the principal image is Benzaiten, Sensoji Temple Bentendo, and Enoshima Shrine Bentendo). The main hall, tower gate, and bell tower, which are designated as important cultural properties of Chiba Prefecture, were wonderful. The cherry blossoms had already finished, but it was a place where you could feel the blue sky and the pleasant breeze, and feel the beauty, calmness, peace, and nostalgia. There is a teahouse called "Hanahana" in the back right of the main hall, and the atmosphere and view of the terrace seats were especially wonderful. Shaved ice is also delicious. The parking lot and restrooms are well-equipped, making it easy to visit. Also, I want to go to see the scenery of the four seasons.

It’s an impressive shrine with simple grounds. There is a nature cafe on one side with a nice garden seating area. The rock garden approaching the shrine via the tori gate is also well put together.

Fuse Benten Temple. This temple is a gem of a temple and Amazenly beautiful. It was destroyed by fire and several wars but was rebuilt in 1717.

(Translated by Google) When you climb the stairs, you will be greeted by the Four Heavenly Kings. If you go to the back, you will find various people such as the bright main hall, the three-storied pagoda, and Benten-sama. You can enjoy it while keeping it compact. There is also a cafe so you can eat dumplings and rest. There is a bus stop in front of you, but the number of buses is small, but Akebonoyama Agricultural Park is also nearby, so if you take a walk, the time will pass quickly.
