10/10 great food in generous proportions for a great price, excellent. Simple dinner and snack menu and extensive drink menu and whiskey collection. After bouncing thru Asia for 3 week it was great to be welcomed into a bar like a local. The chef/bartender/dishwasher/ host, unfortunately I forget his name, was fantastic and the locals in the bar were warm and welcoming. Wether you’re looking for a great meal or just a nice spot to relax for a drink this is the place to go.

The curry is excellent here. Can’t beat these prices either. No table charge and the owner is super friendly.

Their curry is not the conventional type of curry you will have in Japan. Once I have tasted the curry I instantly know that they have traveled the world before, packed full with subtle hints of spices such as cardamon, turmeric etc . Their flavours literally hits the spot in my tummy . But the best part is that the owners husband and wife are extremely friendly. Take note that there is a one drinks policy per person. Good place to listen to music and chill .

This smokey booze den also happens to feature a curry that rips. Grip this real quick before you miss out. Also they were playing the best band in the world Nice Legs on repeat so that ruled.

Best curry I've had in Kyoto. But a disclaimer, DO NOT come here if you dislike smoking. The place allows smoking so heavily smells of it.

Great vibes. Great music choices. Great food! Great services! Great prices! Quite a few drink choices as well. The food tastes as goo as they look in the pictures. Came here a few times. Great hangout spot. Also can just come for a quick meal.

Service is a bit slow, and the curry is a bit heavy in the spices. But everything else is good and the people are really nice!

First time visit, ordered the curry and was blown away!!!! Super tasty, super cheap, and believe me order a small size is enough. Give it a visit and you'll go back again the next day haha!

A great little bar with awesome curry! The atmosphere is very cool with TV playing sports or movies, with lots of people drinking and having fun!

I ordered the pork keema curry, which was absolutely delicious! I wish I would’ve discovered Maggie’s sooner. The atmosphere was great and The Talking Heads were playing in the background as I ate my dinner. The owner is also very kind, he shook my hand after I told him how much I enjoyed my meal. 本当に美味しかったですよ。
