Gorgeous park, got a bit of everything, great for the kids as it has a tennis court and basketball/football pitch next to the park - plenty of open space and the actual play area has plenty to do for all ages. Dog loves it here too!

Absolutely gem of area. Found while out exploring Leeds Public Right of Ways. Well worth a visit and explore. Particularly if you uave children. Little railway, bird watching, ponds and woodland walks

It's chuwell Park, so good for walking the dog. Shame half the park is taken up by a unused bowling green that makes the park dangerous and dark in the evening.

Lovely park when it's not taken up by teenagers that find it appropriate to smoke cannabis whilst small young children about. Even having something to say they still sit smoking it. Then you have the infants playground fenced off due to vandalism of teenagers, this has been like this since beginning of 6wks holidays and even close to end of holidays still there. It's such a shame because its our local park but when it isn't full of teenagers and the infants playground open my children can play for hours but with a 3yr old and not much for her to play on we can't stay very long.

New playground area is great for young kids. Well maintained lawns. Tennis and basketball courts open to the public. Bowling greens not publicly accessible. Two of the western entrances are a little narrow.

Very nice playground. Good location, detached from main Street. The only problem is with pathological children/ teenagers who comes to this area as well. I would not leave my kids unattended to play there. This place is perfect spot for social service workers- plenty of work.

A true gem in the North of england, it firmly places the "well" into churwell. Panoramic views over the metropolis of the north, yet set against a green and lush back drop. You're never in the dark in churwell park.

Clean and tidy great for little ones not a lot of big ones so the little ones get plenty of time on the various facilities

By far the best park in Yorkshire, possibly the North of England. Beautiful views with crisp fresh churwell air. There's no place I'd rather be

🫀 The ponds are located at the northern end of Tarnfield park , just off the main footpath around the Tarn itself. There is a sign which indicates a good diversity of Flora and Fauna ,however I get the impression it’s a bit of a neglected area. The footpath leading in next to the sign is ok and wheelc...
