Gosh what a wonderful find today. We walked from the Leeds Dock area & saw this beautiful building. Incredibly beautiful inside tastefully updated. Lovely little shops & coffee area. The architecture is stunning as indeed are all the historic buildings around this area. Well done Leeds.

A beautiful building full of quaint individual shops. A lovely coffee shop too. It was a quiet retreat from the roadworks outside.

Beautiful location full of small independent shops selling a wide range of stuff! Enjoyed the record shop and the poster shop 😀 amazing building to walk around, cool and bright on a hot sunny day. Recommended for something different.

Such an incredibly beautiful building. Wide-open spaces & all it's original glory has been maintained. Lovely independent shops selling unique clothes, plants & art. I didn't try the coffee shop but it did smell deliciously of fresh coffee & baked bread. If you ever visit Leeds you should take a look in this place.

A lovely example of Leeds industrial past that has been refurbished and reemployed to continue as Trading Center. A great place to find independent traders displaying their creative solutions for sale. A great place to find that something little different for Christmas.

One of the highlights of my visit to Leeds. It is also nice to see that the building is being renovated. There were so many choices of products and a very nice food court where I had a very British fish and chips. Absolutely a must if you are visiting Leeds and want to see some amazing architecture.

A fabulous and historic building, very attractive. Has original features in from its past. Lots of little shops to explore. Has nice clean loos upstairs. Good little tea stop too inside at Bruschetta with tables and chairs - they do very good lime and elderflower cake. Corn Exchange always good to visit when in Leeds.

Interesting place for design stores, unique shops. Beautiful old building. Charming on the inside. Ongoing road works may prohibit people from visiting.

In my opinion, the Corn Exchange is a brilliant location and a must-visit in Leeds. The atmosphere is lively and the shops and stalls on offer are varied and interesting. I love the beautiful building (which is very photogenic) - I just wish there were more cafes.

Really enjoyed wandering around the shops in the Corn Exchange. It's been a long time since I was last here (30 years 😅). I think that there used to be a biplane that's no longer present. The coffee shop on the first floor (ground floor? ... The lower level seems below ground) was really nice. The record and art shops had lots of great stock to choose from.

Independent fabulousness filled with all the handmade local artist vibes you can muster. A super gorgeous venue which I have known about for years after working in the city centre years ago. Was intrigued to see what it was like now and can thankfully report that it has been well looked after and is a lot more cared for and maintained that my memories of the place. Wedding ring bought from the fabulous jewelry maker Stephen on the second floor. A beautiful mug and a keyring bought from the Yorkshire shop, a nice cuppa bought and enjoyed looking at the stunning surroundings. Great place to stop and muse, and purchase those unique gifts. Make it a go to on your trip.

What an amazing place. The building is an architectural delight and has an open feel inside. It is filled with dozens of small, independent shops selling things you don't normally see on the high street. There are a couple of cafes which were busy but good.

Leeds is full of great architecture and independent businesses so you could spend all day exploring, but if you want to get a snapshot of quirky, original, independent then head for the Corn Exchange. It’s easy to find because of the shape and not far from popular places such as the Railway Station and Kirkgate Market. Striking on the outside, it’s even more remarkable on the inside with lots of interesting independent businesses around 2 floors above a central space. Need some unique jewellery? How about something uniquely Yorkshire? Have you always wanted a lucky cat? It’s all there and more. If it’s your first visit, be prepared to just stand and look when you first enter! Well worth a visit.

A beautiful shopping centre which has a little bit of everything to offer. You'll find a lot of independent shops that cater to all crowds, whether basic or alternative. There's fashion, art, artisanal food, music, everything.

A splendid work of architecture which has been in business for nearly 160 years. It has over 20 shops selling a wide range of goods and services and is well worth spending an hour just for a browse. While you're there you might like to visit the Bruschetta Cafe which offers a variety of pastries and beverages and is a good place to sit down and take in the sights. The Corn exchange is accessible to wheelchairs via a front ramp at the entrance and there are disabled toilets on the lower ground floor.

This place has been around for years, I used to come when I was a kid and still like to come and have a look around. Some cool shops with cool names. Looks like they are turning downstairs into a cafe . Could be good. The Arcade machines are cool retro games but they could do with a little TLC to fix them.

Lovely place with independent shops and cafes. If you appreciate architecture, are looking for new photo opportunities or want to discover different shops, this is the right place.

Really liked this place. Colourful and clean. Good mixture of independent businesses. Some of the shops were closed, but we enjoyed spending time at the ones that were open, and then chilled a bit with a glass of fresh juice.

Absolutely love this place. First time I've been in before. The building itself is lovely. Cute little shops, especially 'The Great Yorkshire shop' which is a gift shop with really friendly staff and such good items in them. There's a animatronic dinosaur down the stairs too! Loads of quirky shops to suit everyone's needs I think.
