Great selection of shrubs and bedding. The guys are knowledgeable and the prices are good. It's a nursery so plants, no cafe, no supermarket. And it's better for that.

I've just bought 2 beautiful potted plants from Spen Nurseries. Andrea was friendly and helpful. She gave some fantastic advice on how to care for them going forward. I will definitely be going back to purchase more and love the fact that i've just supported a local business. Thankyou.

I have been here a few times and had some lovely flowers for our hanging baskets. The man and lady who have the nursery are lovely people,they are very helpful and friendly.

Every year I get my plants from here. Their always healthy and bloom all summer long. The variety and colours are amazing. The staff are always on hand to help out and extremely friendly.

They are very helpful. It is the regions oldest nursery, where good plants and advice can he had.

I have been coming here for years for my summer things and my winter things, a garden should look nice all year round not just summer :) At spen nurseries nothing is too much trouble, anything that I need all I have to do is ask, I phoned 1 day and asked if they had a monkey puzzle tree and within a few days Andrew had got me one and delivered it :) Flowers, shrubs and everything else I have is all from spen nurseries. Walking around here is a delight as everything is looked after and fresh, when you see flowers at super markets and how they are in need of TLC it doesn't make you smile does it. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Fantastic quality plants from Yorkshire growers, that will happily thrive in our Northern weather. You might be able to buy cheaper at Tesco or B&Q, but those plants are mostly grown in places like the Netherlands, whereas you know the money you spend is going to a local business, with suppliers in the county. The owners also provide tips on planting, pruning etc that I've found really helpful.

Fantastic centre I'm not going anywhere else in future, they took care of my memorial roses over winter & the advise & service is excellent. Deserve 10 stars.
