We had amazing time cooking an authentic Moroccan Tagine! Our Experience Leader was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Her English was great and made our interaction so smooth. We greatly recommend it! You would NOT regret it. Totally worth the money and MUCH BETTER than just going to eat at a restaurant. The quality is better, the portions are better, and it’s all pure fun! My wife and I had a blast

Our experience was absolutely amazing. It was exactly what we were looking for in a travel experience. We were taught how to make Morracan bread, tea and a common cultural dish. But! Best of all, we had ample time to get to know the wonderful staff sharing stories of our families and culture. I can not recommend Blue Door enough.

Fantastic experience from start to finish - we loved it!! You'll go through the market with your host to see where all of your food comes from, and then you return to a lovely, comfortable home for your authentic Moroccan cooking lesson. Everyone was knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The food was phenomenal!! As soon as I returned home to the US I recreated the recipes with ease - honestly, I cannot believe that I can now cook Moroccan food, I'm so thrilled!! This event is certainly suitable for children who are able to focus, listen, and follow instructions. Your surroundings will be clean, well air-conditioned, and inviting. My family and I 100 percent recommend this experience!

Wonderful experience for our family learning how to make classic Moroccan dishes. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to dive deeper into the stories behind the food and traditions. Our 6-year old loved it and the entire staff was fantastic with children.

It’s a great experience if you want to know more about the moroccan traditions, cuisine and lifestyle. We had such a good and fun time learning the traditional cooking but the most valuable for us was connecting and talking with the ladies. They will make you feel as part of the family. One of the most treasured experiences of our trip to Morocco.

An absolute delight from start to finish! If you only have time to do a few things in Tangier make this one of them. The staff were very sweet and genuine, we enjoyed chatting and learning about our cultural differences and traditional Moroccan cuisine. The cooking class was not too easy for an experienced cook nor too hard for a beginner, though I did wish I had a sharper/chef's knife for those sweet potatoes.

Amazing experience with the most wonderful Moroccan women! Mr. Tim, Mrs. Ester and their team’s mission is to open the doors of North Morocco to experience local authentic hospitality and they do it great! Moreover, I now finally know ho to properly cook cous cous, and I understood the importance of the Moroccan Tea for locals. Thank you so much for sharing your daily routine and secrets with us!

This experience was exactly what you need either at the beginning or end of your trip to morocco. It gives you a great taste of northern morocco and also gives you such a wonderful spread of Moroccan fare: tea, bread and tagine! But the most meaningful part was sitting with our Moroccan teachers who gave us a window into their everyday lives and rich culture. Definitely something for everyone to try who visits Tangier!

A great way to start our trip to Tangier. We landed at 1:00 pm and at 4:00, we met up with Salem who was our experience guide. She took us on a great tour of the area as we made our way to the a blue door. We met two other wonderful women who helped us learn how to make bread (which was cooked in the community oven) and then shared their techniques of making chicken tagine. Salem was happy to answer all of our questions and gave us real insight on the daily lives of people from Tangier. Enjoyed every minute.

This was a grand experience in Tangiers. The location is in the inner city (I think it is called Medina), and easily accessible. They greeted us as if we were family and made us feel very comfortable. The food class was extremely well organized and structured perfectly. We both enjoyed the workshop and then the meal, which was served elegantly. A pure joy, we would highy recommend it.

If you’re looking to learn traditional Moroccan cuisine, with amazing hosts, and a great atmosphere, this is the place for you!! They not only taught us how to cook, they taught us where they got groceries, how to host, and how to eat the traditional way. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting the full Moroccan cooking experience! 10/10

We LOVED our experience! This is the best experience Tangier has to offer. It was so fun to learn about food and culture from local Moroccans. If you come to Tangier you have to go to Blue Door Cuisine.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Blue Door. Tim and his staff were hospitable and knowledgeable and we left feeling like we had a deeper understanding of Moroccan cuisine and culture. Most importantly though the dishes were all delicious and fun to cook.

This was an excellent cultural experience! The staff was wonderfully hospitable and knowledgeable about Moroccan culture. We learned about Morocco while cooking traditional food and drinking tea—what a treat!

Have just finished a wonderful experience with Blue Door Cuisine. We are a family of 5 on holiday in Tangiers with a love of cooking courses wherever we travel - this really is 'high-end' and truly magical. You are greeted so warmly by Tim and his whole team. Fantastic and enriching experience, both on a culinary and human level. Can't recommend it highly enough.
