Interesting visit to the museum of nomadic memory in the company of Mr Abdou who explained to us the different uses of the tools of yesteryear. If you go to Guelmim, take a little detour into this magnificent palm grove and visit this museum.

Very beautiful place, for the building and the objects exhibited on the one hand, and for the culture shared by Abdoul, a very good local guide. Not to miss. As a bonus, your visits help maintain the site: significant!

Fascinating visit, Abdou who speaks French very well explained to us the Sahrawi nomadic life in his beautiful kasbah. The welcome was very warm, we were received like friends. One of our best moments in Morocco!

There are two "museums" in the oasis, this is the old one, open since the 90s. It is known locally as "chez Abdou" after the owner, who will answer your phone call for the necessary appointment. He may show you around himself if you are lucky, otherwise his nephew is a bright and knowledgeable lad and will do the job nicely in perfect French or reasonable English.

🫤 Freundlicher Empfang.
